Hopefully the big fella's fit for the semi final. Missing that bit of craft he has, between middle and front.

Not that anyone was expecting it but he's not in the Australia squad for their games.

I think we miss his ability to take the ball in tight situations and turn a man. He has it down to an art and it sparks a lot of attacks.

Also proof that players can develop, who would have thought eighteen months ago we would be begging for a midfield three that has Armstrong and Rogic!

We are missing the big man so much I think. We keep possession well enough mostly, but its frequently non-threatening and going back/side the way too much. He would make a big difference in linking up play, moving us up the part and keeping us there. Been really impressed with him this year, his stamina looked as though it was improving considerably that injury came at a bad time for him. Hopefully back for the semi??

celts are here saying he could make squad for sunday

Quote:

Celtic could clinch the title this weekend if Aberdeen lose against Hearts on Saturday and Celtic have been given a timely boost ahead of what could be a big day at Dundee.

TOM ROGIC is ready to come back into the fray after being sidelined since the 17th December against Dundee at home.

The Australian was enjoying his best season in a Celtic jersey until the injury that left him leaving an ankle operation, scoring 10 goals for the Hoops.

The midfielder is now fit and raring to go and would love the opportunity to help Celtic clinch the league title if Aberdeen are beaten.

There is no word yet from Celtic boss Brendan Rodgers if Tom will start in Dundee but he is heavily tipped to see action at some point during the visit to Dens Park.

The playmaker could prove pivotal in Celtic’s quest for an historic treble.

Welcome back Tom Rogic!

I wonder what he's been working on, while he's been out.
Perfect opportunity to do some individual one to one stuff with the coaches - tactics & stuff.

I hope he comes back better than ever, didn't seem to hurt KT too much.

We've missed him over the last few months, he adds a bit of guile and panache that we otherwise lack. I believe we are at our best with him Armstrong and Brown in midfield. Will be interesting to see how Kouassi fits into that. Bitton can go.

It is amazing how people seem to get better when they are out the team. Reading stuff on here it is hard to believe this is the position most people thought we should be upgrading and BR chose to drop him for big games.

What big games did he get dropped for?

Fwiw I think we could improve on his position in the summer but we've still missed him.

It was O'Dea that put him out for weeks. It'd be nice if he came back to haunt them.
