Bitton was outstanding in the 5-1 game. I'm sure Armstrong would relish the number 10 role on current form. That said McGregor will cause them all sorts of problems with his direct running. Either way the Hun is getting pumped again.
He did play well in that game and then Citeh at home...but he started 3/4 games thereafter and fell away and was anonymous for most part hence him dropped now by the manager.

Too big a risk for game at Ibrokes when the tackles will be flying. They will be up for this albeit with their limitations to play so heavy tackles will be order of the day…
Rangers are soft as shampooe. They don't fly into tackles. It's Jason Holt and Barrie McKay ffs.

Ye would get a better fight against Girls aloud.
Only way they will go is trying to go in hard as talented footballers they aint..dont fancy Bitton over there.

You can't teach players with no heart to go thundering into tackles.

We've said they'll try to blooter into us twice this season to make up for the lack of ability and its not happened. This Rangers team doesn't even have this.

They'll try to play their way round us and hope the ref does them a few favours. That , they'll still have in their favour. Hope the home crowd roars them to some sort of result a large us in CL.

If Rogic fails to make the 31st, I hope BR replaces him with Bitton.
Directly?
Yes...full skeletal transplant.

Games like that having a player who'll keep it simple and slow the pace down isn't a bad thing. I expect him to start, allows Brown to push forward a wee bit and score :)

McGregor is probably the most obvious shout and I'm certain Brendan won't be scared to change it if it isn't working.

I don't think Rodgers wants to play Brown and Bitton in the same side.

I thought in the game against Gladbach at home that the lack of any movement or drive from the midfield two was the biggest reason we could barely get out our half or build anything in the first 45. They were far too static. Bitton was hooked early in the second half for McGregor and we looked far better.

In to the cup game against Rangers a few days later it was again Bitton going off for Armstrong that changed the game. They couldn't deal with his running.

Since then he's started 1 game out of 14.

When both of them are in the side we are a poorer pressing team and often I feel have a big gap between the sitting two and Rogic. If he's out I think it will be McGregor alongside Brown with Armstrong coming in to Rogic's role.

Completely agree. It is for this reason that I now don't think we'll go for a pure DCM in the window.
Looks like Rodgers wants an athletic & dynamic midfield 3, Bitton is just far too slow & ponderous (not to mention faint hearted).
I'm guessing that the MLS player we were linked with, would've been for a replacement for Bitton, rather than a Wanyama type..

McGregor - - - - - - Armstrong
-----------------Brown

That'll be our most dynamic & best pressing 3, until we get replacements.
Obviously Rogic drops in if he's happy to go without a high tempo press & thinks we'll see loads of the ball.

I'd rather see Brown let off the leash and a proper DM brought in. It really cost us in Europe, bring one in and punt Bitton although I'd still start him at Ibrox.

I'm sure he'll be fit once we're back playing against Albion Rovers.

Is Rogic in Dubai or continuing his recovery in Glasgow? I haven't seen him in any of the club's social media pieces from the training camp.

He,s like the captain of the English cricket team, Alistair Cook. Quite simply, he doesn't sweat.

Don't know whether he was training or spending time with the team in Dubai but he was certainly on the flight with the players coming home yesterday
