Listening to SSB in the background while making the dinner ...... the currant buns seem confident enough about sunday , seemingly we will be taught a lesson in efficiency and professionalism by the germans on Wednesday and middle to front they have more than enough to run the legs of us on sunday. Also heard BFDJ liken a hun defender to Alan Hansen , never caught who but he wont play on sunday.
It was Crooks he was comparing to Hansen. Hasn't played a game for them yet but BFDJ has seen clips of him online

Hun on earlier hoping their "£8m rated player" Rossiter gets a start

:loel:
BFDJ cant be long for the media world. As a genius once said....a disgrace of a man.

Mark Warburton and Brendan Rodgers out on a rowing boat on the North Sea. A wind gets up. Thankfully there was no drowning but Warburton's magic hat did get blown off and landed twenty yards away. Brendan Rodgers stepped out of the boat, walked across the water and retrieved the hat for Warburton.
That night on the radio, BFDJ slaughters Rodgers for not being able to swim. Fact.

I'd honestly love for a hun to actually explain rationally how it is they're ever going to challenge us.

They need Champions League group stage football to become profitable. They're still running at a loss with mountains of debt to investors as it stands. They need heavy investment to catch up with us in footballing/staff terms over the course of a season.

Even if they did manage to beat us one season, then what? They will have to negotiate 4 or 5 unseeded qualifiers when the changes kick in. We've struggled with 3 seeded ones at the best of times.

They're utterly fecked.

"Clyde Superscoreboard phone-in, it's time to get off the fence and tell it like it is"

Then when some boy tells it like it is by reminding the zombies that they went on the rampage in Manchester Gerry throws a wobbler.

Change your intro or suck it up.

The thing about SSB is they let these effers rant on and when anyone mentions any transgressions by them or positives about us they are cut off.

I stopped listening a while ago - catch the occasional show on the way back from the gym and inevitably turn to another station.

The whole thing is far too safe. As soon as anyone has anything verging on a strong opinion it is quickly fanned down. The pundits are so non-committal to an actual opinion, they chop and change their argument on a whim to best suit that moment in time and come out as the `winner`.

In fact, the whole thing is an entirely pointless exercise as it achieves nothing.

At least with some phone-ins you get a bit of tactical insight or behind the scenes info. SSB is just watered down, bland and poorly produced.

Oh, and the show is only about 20 minutes long once you remove ad breaks, weather updates, traffic updates and the shampooty wee quiz they do.

slight exageration there. the podcast is 90mins long and has all the adverts, news etc edited out.
granted, it has the quiz but it takes up about 5 or 6 mins of the show max.

Actually they have the Quiz, the Teaser Question (which get's asked multiple times), now a horse racing thing (don't even know what it's supposed to be), and previously had a stupid darts contest thingy.

At best the phone-in punters only get 1/2 the time, sometimes even less when the pundits sit there talking Bulldust (which is a lot of the time when One Cell is on).

I live in Oz and download the Podcasts, and find myself forwarding half the show (sometimes seconds, other times minutes at a time). Happy to carry on as is, but if I had to listen to the show live I'd give it a miss (and in the Podcasts at least we don't get the adverts, traffic, etc.).

Each to their own, but at best only half each show is worth listening to (at best).

I'd like to think that any Orc gloating over our CL performance is given short shrift by the panel.

It's like Scotland fans phoning up to laugh about Brazil or Spain

I don't listen anymore so I'm sure this is what happens :ph43r:
