Jim Duffy - 'we need someone like Walter Smith running out game'

It's this mentality and stupidity that gives me little hope going forward

That's the best idea he has! Walter Smith

If he's referring to Walter smith himself, then he's way off the mark it's embarrassing. However, if he actually means someone LIKE Smith, then it's the kind of management that this pathetic Scotland side needs. As his tactics are the only way they can play. It's why the national side were very successful under him and McCleish. Only the next 5-10 years with the youths coming through will tell us if we can escape the ugly nature of a Smith/McCleish type management. But for now, we're needing it desperately. And I feel sick saying it.

That "st.mirren" fan is an arse and this "motherwell" fan is a fanny. That's us getting it the night for bringing a toxic environment to smaller clubs. Do these carrots not realise we have been buttering their breed for years?

The thing that's annoying me is that since I've been listening to it tonight, not one person has asked why in the name of F would the zombies be invited to this. They are an embarrassment to Scottish football and have been hanging on our coat-tails for the last 4 years. We don't need them and any new league certainly doesn't either. That's purely on footballing issues. When you then think about what the scum that follow them and followed the old club, why would they even get an invite.

Smith's win % as Scotland manager is worse than Strachans. In saying that even I felt more comfortable with Smith :ph43r:

Strachan is just a bad manager. No harm in saying it.

Sooner hw resigns the better for Scotland.

whilst i'd agree he's a bad scotland manager i disagree with it in a general sense.

he took us to last 16 of cl and we beat some big names in the process.

i'd say it's more like he's lost the plot.

He plays Martin in one game and Fletcher in the other and Leigh Griffiths on the bench for both games? Aye, he's lost the plot alright.

Somebody told me today that one cell has been offered the Airdrie managers job, on the basis that he doesn't have to go to their games on Saturdays
