Can we stick to commenting about his punditry ? Some of the stuff about his personal life and "decency" are un-called for.

The huns view of the world is so warped they are discussing how "DJ done Sutton".

I cant even fathom how someone could listen to that and come to that conclusion. Must be that supremacist/ we are the people filter than rejects all logic and reason.

Not sure what my favourite bit is. A rattled BFDJ pointing out Sutton needed two bodyguards at Ibrox (why is this a dig?), a rattled BFDJ calling Ronny Deila "that poor man" as if he really cares about our ex-manager's well-being, or a rattled BFDJ not being backed up by his co-presenters.

Sutton's the best thing to happen to Scottish football media in a long time. He's got an irreducible core of spite towards other humans that's quite invigorating. I thought BFDJ got him a bit at one stage with a quip but Chris is bulletproof, he's like a slagging match Terminator.

Agreed. Calling him decent was ridiculous.

The best bits are when Sutton gives him a chance to reply and gets nothing but dead air and then a high pitched 'your a nasty man'

Pathetic from Johnstone who thinks his job is stupid bells and laughing at your own shampooe jokes. He's a waste of space as a pundit who, with keevins in particular, ruined super scoreboard and made it a total laughing stock about 15 years ago

With proper production and management it could be a great show with a huge audience

What Sutton is doing for punditry in Scotland is what the coming together of Johnny Giles and Eamon Dunphy did for RTÉ and Irish football punditry in general 25 or so years ago. They told it like it was and Dunphy, in particular, was well hated for a long time. But it freed up the airways, which were clogged by the same sycophantic scheidt you lot suffer from. I'm not sure if it will work the same way there but expect one or two more guys to start giving it straight. Not before time.

Remember not so long ago on the programme, that fat slob was arguing with a caller and hit out with the line,
"You know how the song goes, no one likes us and we don't care"
A bitter fan being paid generously to not tell it like it is. #AudioThief

I must be far easier going than most on here.

For me, Clyde is a decent laugh on a Saturday. BFDJ is decent enough banter & I don't find him to be malicious. If you take him being a hun or a clown to heart, then whatever floats your boat.

When you see what Walker, Burley, Nicholas have come out with at the other end of the scale, I don't see DFDJ as being that bad.
I tend to agree. While he is very obviously a buffoon and a Rangers cheerleader he's not even in the same league as characters such as Traynor. Apparantly a decent guy. Sutton tore him a new one though, of that there can be no doubt.

I had the misfortune of meeting him in the marriot at a works xmas dance years ago. Obnoxious twat was my experience of him.

Decent guy who didn't tell his family about two weans he had after cheating on his wife with two different women. That guy?

Does anyone recall the slug defending Deila (the poor man) last season when Sutton was slating him?
No I don't remember it. Neither do I remember hordes of Celtic fans call up SSB to berate Sutton (neither a Clyde employee nor current player for a club) because he was offering his opinion about Deila at the time. On tv. Completely separate from Clyde. This has baffled me since I heard the first effwit call in about TEG.

Happy to be proven wrong, however I think this further underlines the difference between us and a Hun

Last night apart, I still think Sutton has a lot to learn about punditry. I find him quite cringe worthy at times and his Cragan double act is a bit of a sham. He is by nature a bully and needs to rain in his natural desire to dominate a conversation. Big fella is a bit if a shock jock, but their is evidence he is starting to develope his media personality, still a way to go to become balanced. His Twitter personality is far more balanced than the pitch side interupting ranter.

Didn't hear the aftermath, did Shug back up bfdj?
No. He basically said that a pundit could say what they wanted within the confines of the law or some pish.
I think that was a warning about defamation. Sutton was treading the line when he was calling BFDJ a liar and a charlatan.
Johnston called Sutton a liar as well.

This pish about not respecting Sutton. Warburton and now BFDJ.

Seriously, you don't respect Chris Sutton?

Talk about shooting the messenger ffs. They obviously prefer their own wee world where truth is a stranger.

The video posted a few pages back with BFDJ's comments on Lennon being attacked at Tynecastle should blow away any notion of him being a 'decent guy'
He's a snidey, sleekit hun hiding behind his bufoon image, Sutton pulled that image apart last night and the real BFDJ shone through with his bodyguard comments.
eff the fat mess, no sympathy from me.
