What they are too stupid to realise is that a few more personalities like Sutton covering the game here and it might actually be worth more than two bob at renewal time. Even if he is a dick to everyone at least he has an opinion which isn't on message. The msm have cultivated the disenchantment felt by fans for years.

We're never going to have pogba here on £250k a week but there are other ways to make it interesting - not all those ways need to be on the park.

Huns to boycott pay phone on Copeland Rd and urge the board not to pay BT bill this quarter. (AS IF they have the cash to pay any bills!)

Suttons managed more debate in a few weeks that SSB has in years!

I must be honest & I dare say this won't go down well, but I don't mind BFDJ.

He's a hun & loves his club, big deal - doesn't make you a bad guy. Like all huns, he was desperate for Whyte, Green & King to ride to the rescue, so the cheerleading I get. Fat Sally was his mate, so you can understand why he tried to stick up for him. What do folk expect?

In comparison to other ex players / ex huns in the media, he's harmless.

Unless I'm missing something he's done, I don't get the distain for him on here.
Perhaps because he comes across as a bitter Orange bastard who happily criticises Celtic at any opportunity while bursting into tears should anyone, anywhere criticise his beloved 'Gers?

Hopefully this will be enough for the huns to stop listening to the show and let it turn back into a real football discussion show

BFDJ really is trash

He isnt a Sevco cheerleader because he's a supporter, he's a cheerleader because he's a Sevco employee. His job is to toe the party line and any 'opinion' he has was given to him by his bosses at Ibrox. The fact Clyde employ someone who is so obviously conflicted is laughable.

The qualities you mention may be acceptable for a guy in the pub but not for someone hosting a (supposedly) impartial radio show.

Add in Derek's stupidity and inability to enter reasoned debate and theres no way the show can be informative or interesting. It just gets stuck in the same old routine or the guest or called ridiculed or moved on. Its only ridiculous moments like yesterday that make the show interesting.

There's potential for a decent listen but not with that agenda-riding, useless, thick arsehole hosting it.

He's an atrocious pundit incapable of telling it straight, it's supposed to be his job, not defending the indefensible on a year in, year out basis. He's cast himself in this dual role of being employed by a club yet able to speak freely regarding ourselves, Aberdeen, Hibernian, particularly his supposedly beloved United, often with disparagement and bitterness.

He is fair game, it's time to wheel out the dinosaurs and shake things up. it's notable that it's taken an Englishman to finish the job...the self preservation society and their uncle Tom support cast are done.

He's a Sevco employee & Fan so at least he has an excuse, not so much the Soup taking ex-Celtic players who do as much criticising of our team as BFDJ.

Saying that it was pure dead bril that last night :rocker:

The Press Pack seem to be turning. The cynical me wonders why they are turning. What have they been told?

I think it's circle the wagons round Dave King time. As ever The Laird o'Bigghhoose can do no wrong. Barton, Warburton, even BFDJ will be collateral damage.

There's more lucidity in a plate of chow mein than BFDJ. His comment was about putting the sound down on the TV when watching BT sport was just pathetic.

I hope he makes some more comments about Sutton that allows TEG to sort him out again on air.

Sutton is a one man band who has done more to stand up to charlatans and cheer leaders  than anybody else given airtime. Johnstone got in the firing line last night and after listening to the pounding he took, plenty of the rest will be wary of crossing swords with the big man. Sure he's abrasive and abrupt but he speaks his mind and isn't toeing any party line.

Most of the time he's bang on the mark too.

He's far from harmless. If he had a brain and engaged it he might have been able to see from day 1 that Whyte and Green were crooks, as anyone who spent 5 minutes researching their background could quickly conclude. His type of sycophantic fawning and subservience allowed the oldco to die. Since then he's been happy to accuse everyone else of killing and punishing 'Rangers'.

It's an embarrassment that fools like him are given such prominence in Scottish football.

BFDJ and one cell are proof that you can make a career in broadcasting talking unadulterated shampoo, Sutton owned Johnstone last night and said exactly what we think of the big fud, yet another in the long line of Hun apologists in the Scottish Media.
