This is big Sutton as he is, and why his Celtic team was so ruthless and successful, in the dressing room with guys like this, there is no hiding place, get on it or ship out, simple. That is what every team needs.
Talking of his ruthlessness reminds me of the Valencia game in 2001. One of their players had been niggling TEG but there was only ever going to be one winner. The ball was going out of play at one side of the pitch when at the other Sutton casually walks past the Valencia guy, studs down his Achilles without breaking stride. Spaniard collapses in agony, Sutton looks around astonished that anything had happened. No booking.

I thought the blimp survived intact, just barely.

Sutton was quite rightly asking him to say exactly what was wrong with his Warbo molligation. Gerry McC should have stepped in and given BFDJ the "right of reply," i.e. given him enough rope.

What's all this about bodyguards? Have the Vanguard Daughters of Sandy Chugg threatened a demonstration of staunchness?

"... that's hardly forming an argument Derek..." The condescension in that line was just amazing. I'd have it as my ringtone.

Last nights episode involving the bankrupt bheggar has left me cold. There is a continual daily smear campaign against our club and it is getting worse. Give our enemies their due, they mean business. They wanted our club wiped off the face of the planet, they failed but they won't let it lie. There are enemies out there, all with the same agenda which is to maim or destroy our club or anyone associated with it. Opposition fans I can almost tolerate. So called officials of corrupt football associations I had to tolerate. Greedy shareholders that care not a jot for our club or history have been swatted away. What I do not or will not stand for though is our club, our ex players, present players, management, fans and history being attacked daily by the media in this unsavoury little country. By allowing Piss Mutton to continue his venomous outburst live on snyde, they have nailed their colours to the mast. They, like all other media outlets in Scotland know that Rangers are fair game. Kick them to kingdom come as you like, they're fair game. Feck that! We need to put a stop to this onslaught before it's too late. We used to be THE club in this country. The fight back has to come soon or we will have let down future generations of Rangers fans.

:Bye: think of the kids...

Strange how these great fans never seem to question their own until its too late.

Funny they're asking Sutton to be civil while fatty is being hostile and rude

Spitting though his teeth - disgusted he is even talking to 'him' showed no wit, humour or ability to trade digs - just got more and more annoyed

Not very professional - don't expect him to be but I was actually struck at just how rude and - no wait - Orc acting like Orc shocker! Doesn't accept any criticism from a tim - he should be embarrassed and his employees at clyde should be having a word

Man is a tool
Despite him being correct Sutton was incredibly rude, that's what made it so funny

Derek a master of the old Molotov style of debate -- keep saying the same thing over and over again only say it louder each time, all the while talking over your opponent because you have the mic. The two most telling points of the exchange were the fat fool's scandalous remark about bodyguards and his inability to back up his "porkies" allegation when challenged.

Sutton missed an open goal, however, when he failed to press home his advantage on McCoist. The fat fool backed Sally to the hilt -- Chris should have asked him if he still thought McCoist was a good manager, and then compared him to Warburton. Still fun, though. :)
He didn't need to:

"A did tell the truth, that is what I believed at the time, and I still do". (about McCoist)

That was the open goal. "So you believe the man who frittered away Charles Green's millions on a team that couldn't win promotion while he earned £850k a year was a good manager? That Ally McCoist?" He would have left what remained of the fat one's credibility in tatters.

Only a complete moron would think Johnstone anywhere near held his own in that exchange. Sutton picked him apart systematically and called him out for exactly what he is.

I bet the fat toad is still trying to figure out which "porkies" Sutton has been telling.

Why is Sutton being given air time? What has changed in the Scottish media climate?
