First caller on was talking about how he hopes WGS doesn't call up O'Connell :lmao:
Aye and he was a supposed Tim - I don't understand these clowns who go on radio not knowing their football - then again we accept most of the Huns on that programme are so embarrassingly clueless. It really is a cluster--- of a show when the callers are in the main total roasters who no nothing about the game and the pundits who played the game or "journos" who didn't are just as inept.

The best example is BFDJ who is given airtime to spout Sevco propaganda - I was at a Phoenix Honda night in the 90s where guest speakers were Davie Provan and BFDJ in a Q&A session and one of my mates was a director. After Q&A was over he asked if me and my mate wanted to join him in office with the guest speakers which we readily accepted - during the conversations BFDJ asked who the guy was Huns had just signed for 2.5m and if he was any good ? I looked at him and said his name is Basile Boli and he played against your lot in last years EC semi-final alongside Desailly ?

Honestly it's embarrassing in my experiences with Hun pals or workmates their football knowledge is shocking and yet they're all over the media outlets in this country, but then what really galls me are the Celtic pundits who are scared to tell the truth and toe the party line for the pieces of silver - sometimes I wonder who are worse !!!

I actually think the fat tub of lard might be right, and that Bro Thomson will get the first Celtic v Sevco game.
He did. In 2015.
Fully aware of that

I meant this season, Sept 10th to be precise.

BFDJ says that"by letter of the law" all Celtic players should have been booked for leaving field of play to celebrate 3rd goal
I'll guarantee he has never read the law....this what it says

Celebration of a goal

Players can celebrate when a goal is scored, but the celebration must not be excessive; choreographed celebrations are not encouraged and must not cause excessive time-wasting.

Leaving the field of play to celebrate a goal is not a cautionable offence but players should return as soon as possible.
A player must be cautioned for:
• climbing onto a perimeter fence
• gesturing in a provocative, derisory or inflammatory way
• covering the head or face with a mask or other similar item
• removing the shirt or covering the head with the shirt

Feel free to read this to him

Used to like him when he played for us, thought he was an honest pro. Since hearing him on radio and the Paton case I see him as a soup taking uncle Tim, no time for him at all.

Sutton & Boys are the only ones that haven't sold their soul imo. Possibly Davie Provan. The likes of Walker, Burley, et al can go and raffle themselves

You must be mistaken. The only time the huns ever got to a EC semi final was when they played Frankfurt.

Boli never played for Frankfurt and it was before his time.

You're right about BFDJ though

Did they not manage to set a record in that semi though? A record aggregate defeat at that stage of the competition?

Always setting records that mob were.

I'm new. Be gentle.
BFDJ said on sat that it takes time for rangers to gel (when talking about their performance against Motherwell) given they have brought in so many players, celtic on the other hand are 95% the same as last year. Fraser wishart then said there was only two players started that were not at the club last year. his response was but that was in the championship.

a total diddy of a man
