Quoting limited to 3 levels deep
When I heard what was coming at the top of the show I was tempted to switch off but it wasn't actually all about the incident at Celtic Park. More about racism in football.

Fair enjoyed it.
Was Paul Wilson mentioned at all ?
Do not be so silly, my friend....... :o

With Paul W it was all 1970s Banter Declan, with Walters it was premeditated racism, with every single fruit shop in the entire city being sold out or ripped off for every banana in Scotland being thrown on the park! Just look at all the pictures from Swinecastle!

Thought I'd post the wee argument between Michael Stewart and Packie Bonner on shortbreed earlier about Celtic's fatigue levels. Interesting discussion.

Personally, I think Stewart is correct. You can't cram that many games into your schedule without being effed. The break is needed.

We played nine games in December last year, winning eight league games and drawing with Citeh away. The bigger factor - imo - is the fact that the players essentially have been playing for eighteen months without a break worthy of the name; once you add in travel for WC qualifiers for the majority of our squad - even if they get no game time, the recent dip in domestic form is understandable. Since BR took over, we have lost ONE domestic game, and failed to score in only two... all this month.

As much as the break is well-deserved, the squad needs significant improvement for next season.

Couldn't agree more, Otis. It's time for some solid investment. I also think he's right about tiredness, even a fully rested team would need improvements, like at the back or maybe even goalie competition.

I agree with both points.

We have played approx 40% more games than the Huns in the same period so I'd expect them to be fresher...still couldn't win though

Their mood depends purely on their latest result.

A 0-0 victory against us means they are title challengers again, if only they never lost all those freak games.

Go back a couple of weeks, Murty was not fit for purpose, send for Cardigan.

They are stupid fannies, end of.

But you have to remember that they have been brought up believing in moonbeams and floating casino's etc. . They will never accept that they are now a wee diddy team who are scratching their arses to make ends meet
