Chris Sutton was hard as nails an all
Getting himself sent off as he couldn't hack it makes him hard?? Nah, I don't think so.
 So you pick one example in six seasons? Terry Butcher was asked how his defenders were going to cope with Chris Sutton and he said the only way was "with a baseball bat".

Sutton was a hard player. To suggest otherwise is nonsense.

Boyd last night totally unable to comprehend the point that if McInnes goes into talks with Rangers it's by no means a given that they will be offering him what he wants - both in regards to his own pay and a transfer budget.

Frankly if I were McInnes and they came calling after all this time, I hold out for the highest demands. If they really want him then he ought to make them pay. They've behaved shockingly over the whole saga - but are we really surprised?

Sutton was more of a bad tempered carrot rather than a hard man.

There's a difference between being a hard player and being a a 'hard man'. Plenty of players who have played with and against Sutton have confirmed as much.

Kris Boyd embarrasses himself whenever he is on Radio Scotland. For the life of me I cannot see what the station thinks he contributes. It's not as if he is the token hun given the studio is littered with them - Derek and Barry8 Ferguson and Alex Rae

He's a complete moron. Starts every sentence with "what I'm saying is ...". We know it's what you're saying. We can hear you saying it, you moron. Doesn't make it any less moronic.

Have I mentioned he's a moron?

Chick Young on Shortbread tonight -

"I've tapped players up in exchange for a story..."

Then...

"I'm not saying Derek McInnes has been tapped up."

Give us a break.

I think it was Richard Wilson I caught very briefly tonight on Shortbread - it certainly sounded like his dull tones - congratulating TheRangers on taking their time making this managerial appointment. It was a splendid piece of turd polishing.

It just makes you wonder just exactly what a team from Ibrox would have to do to provoke a negative comment from the likes of Dick and his brown nosing fellow supporter Chris Jack.
