See this pish about Neil Lennon being an ex-Celtic player and manager, and that he should expect a degree of abuse "just because of who he is". And it would be the same case when a ex-Rangers player goes to CP? This seems to have been the stance of SSB last night.

How much sectarian abuse and hate did Lee McCulloch have to endure last week at Celtic Park, as the visiting manager?

None? Okay just checking.
Or Daly the week before.
Elbows is a great example actually. I think if there was a poll of the most disliked recent ex-Hun players I think he'd be up amongst the top 3.

And as you say, it didn't even occur to the 30k at CP to give the man a second thought about his combative style of play etc etc

The issue is 100% about bigotry even if it is in part the 90 min variety.
You know it, I know it and we all know it, but when the feck is something ever going to happen about it :nono:

Ive seen the photos from that game, what the F is an over arm gesture? :ponder:

The Auld Windbag seemed unlike himself this evening - unrehearsed and a bit slurry, Roger was Yer points Ronald, Astana were from eh eh The Far East - rattled by recent criticism or jist hauf cut?
Unusually he got cut off early which was truly wonderful only for the panel to wish they hadn't when the next caller commented on his anananananananananalogy.

SSB Yawnathon SSB Yawnfest - Miss Laurie Construed From Dennistoun you can keep both of those titles forever
No Tim will attempt to strip them - Would be wonderful if your 2 prizefighters would step into the ring to sort out which one is gonnae tell their auld gasbag of a Da to STFU?

Can I say something Laurie - Totally No Competition :carrot: Absolutely Concerned Yep Draw An Surely Whereby As Apposed To Constituted - "Eff off"

 I just skip him. I skip through most of the show - hurting zombies are always the highlight. Hopefully the jambos pump them on the weekend and it's listenable again for a few days.

The single biggest advantage of the podcast is to skip past him. Can't stand the pompous arsehole

That's more than likely because we spent all night laughing at the fecker. If Killie had given us a tighter game or took the lead and Elbows reacted like Lenny did then you can put your shirt on it he would have received a hell of a lot of abuse.

That would have been the end of it though, we wouldn't have made a statement or reported him to the polis.

Why would he violently cup his ears if he wasn't getting any hate-filled sectarian abuse though ?

Lenny cupped his ears when Hibs equalised, clearly in response to the abuse he was receiving when Sevco were in the lead. Celtic fans weren't abusing Elbows when we were in the lead.

I heard a wee bit of the phone in last night, James from Drumchapel was on again (they have their regulars who always get on, Laurie, James and John) and they cut him off because he called NL a crackpot and then Shug had a wee go at him after the call was terminated. Then in the paper today, Keith Jackson has a go at the scum and the police for their treatment of NL - is the media turning?

Did you hear the Sunderland/Hibs fan who mentioned being subjected to sectarian singing and BFDJ's immediate response was to ask what Hibs fans are dishing out at Easter Road.

He didn't sound his usual self. When I heard him I thought he's either unwell or has been having a liquid tea.

after they cut off that guy who called NL a crackpot BFDJ said he made good points. After Macca mentions the sectarian abuse and BFDJ said about rangers getting abuse by hibs fans at Easter rd Macca said yes but it's not sectarian abuse BFDJ said it's only football banter!Chris Sutton was 100% right about him.
