Is Gerry leaving?

I actually quite like him.
Rumours he's got a job with us
Lets hope not. This is the guy who on live radio said being called a Celtic fan is "an insult to his intelligence". Feck him.
Is part of his job not to court controversy?

Shame Gerry is leaving...I only really started listening to it on a regular basis again with him presenting it...otherwise it was pointless. He's smart enough to actually take the time to get to the root cause of an issue and / or someone's point. It also comes across that he quite enjoys it and has a decent sense of humour. Seems to have a good rapport with all panel members and occasionally manages to get something resembling a sentence out of Alex thingmy Rae.

PS - think I heard that 'insult to his intelligence' one...from memory he was saying that it's an insult to his intelligence to say that because of his background he could not make an objective comment on Celtic.

A caller said that he and Keevins are Celtic fans. That tit then said that it's all in the past and it was an insult to his intelligence to be labelled a Celtic fan. To me, it sounded like the ultimate in soup taking journo style.

I see the times are calling for a plaque for our players who died in ww1. Have we acknowleged those players before in amy way, similar to what hearts have done?

How is WW1 viewed in ireland? I know the irish also fought in it but the easter uprising also happened during that time.
Why should we listen to the times?

I'd go with a plaque honouring all our former players that have passed away. eff glorifying war.

Dont see how that is glorifying war. WWI was an absolutely brutal war, anyone who would suggest it was somehow glorious is a tit.

No fan of McCulloch but I'm sure Gordon Duncan has covered a few times, he's dreadful.

I liked delahunt.
I suppose it's all about opinions etc. but I thought Delahunt acted increasingly like a guard dog in defending the pundits. Too many callers were interrupted.

McCulloch let them talk and at times let the caller get right into the pundit.

It's as well I never said it was a glorious war then.

Keep politics out of football eh, only when it suits.

How does a plaque outside a football ground effect the football game itself? For the record it's got feck all to do with politics. Anything to try and sound self righteous on this forum seems to be the theme.

A quiz question about Cathkin Park and Third Lanark. Caller having a dig at Alex Rae for having got the question wrong.

...Gerry then mentioning that the caller missed the obvious joke about defunct football clubs.

WURR THE SAME CLUBBBBBB. HONESTLY.

So has there been anything confirmed about where Gerry Mc is going to? Few people have said us, but just wondered if anyone knows it is a cert.

Scotland's shame won't buy the season tickets in sufficient numbers if the sevco board don't shell out this coming window.
Which of course means more loans
And even if they threw £10m at it , it wouldn't be nearly enough
Hunner percent effed :lolhuns:
