There was guy on earlier this week saying that the reason that DK hadn't invested his £30m was that as soon as it went into the bank MA would "freeze" it, so DK was playing a shrewd game. The £5m owed to MA could be "converted", in due course, no problem and would just go away, and once this masterplan of DK's came to fruition everything would be rosy in the Ibrox garden once more.

I really felt quite sad listening to that. It was genuinely pathetic.

Like newsprint media, phone ins are dying on their arses. Radio 5 live trumpets its 606 much less these days, mainly because half of it is Robbie Savage talking nonsense.

Never met Savage, probably never will so don't know what he's like. He might be a lovely fella, good laugh, generous and gregarious, a good family man, who knows, but he comes across as an insufferable bellend on the radio.

Why would anyone listen to a bunch of cabbages like fat Johnstone, Alex Rae and Gordon Dalziel et al and expect to hear anything more than illiterate and inane pro-hun drivel?

It's bottom of the barrel stuff and the agenda is set already. They are not going to countenance that the huns did anything wrong so they don't want to hear about title stripping. Far better to just ignore them and let their advertisers worry about paying for it.

Life is too short to get annoyed about them. The BBC on the other hand are an ongoing disgrace and utterly deserving of our ire. Funded by a poll tax and spouting lies and misinformation. Quite frankly the sooner it goes the better as far as i am concerned.
Their target audience is no brained huns ( is there any other kind?). Anyone else listening in just needs a good shake.

Gerry ----- "First caller is a Celtic fan. William from Larkhall. On ye go, William".

William ----- "Hello Gerry. Hi Mark. Hiya Alexei. I would just like to talk about Ronny Delilah. Will he be oot the door if he doesn't win the treble, coz his record in Europe is gash?"
Noone, NOONE, on that bloody show can pronounce Deila's last name - Del-yah, Deel-yah, Della, Delly-yah. It's not that hard =- DYE-LAH :ffs:
Yip as in DIE-LAH-FING

If there was a "Man Talking Total Bollocks of the Year" award, Robbie would be right up these.

Is it not like that tv talk show where they have yahoos from Yorkshire housing estates who are having affairs with their father's wife and her sister at the same time. Pure bear bating to entertain the middle classes who listen in for the "banter".

No one on panel willing to put him right....Gerry knows that they were not demoted and that the new club were fast tracked into the fourth tier and knows the reason why :suspect:

Fair jobbies to you guys who can actually listen to this drivel . I've not listened to Clyde for about 8 years, and RS only stays on if there is a half decent panel on, so i listen to it about 5 times a year.

Even dipping into this thread raises the old blood pressure .

As Nancy Reagan probably never said, Just Say No. Don't encourage the fandangos .

I had hopes for Gerry when he started his gig at SSB that he'd be a reasonably balanced presenter, but it didn't take him long to go native.

He's basically just said it's not his job to correct callers, but it's other callers' job to correct other callers.

Radio aff (though might give RS a wee listen first).

Clyde kind of sums up the problem with provincial Scottish media, highlighted even more when Alex Thomson appeared on it, its the very stupid and the ill informed phoning up to be spoken down to by the moderately stupid and ill informed.
