BFDJ is dangerously stupid when it comes to football. He really doesn't know very much for a 'pundit'. 4 points behind Aberdeen was a highlight.
He is paid to comment on our game as well. Embarrassing stuff.

I thought some of the 'pundits/journalists' down here were bad but listening to SSB is a another level.

BFDJ is a clown. You wouldn't let him speak football to an under 7's side.

Things that won't be discussed on tonight's show; EBT's, financial doping, King's criminal history. I can and will cut people off who do so.

What's the deal here. Why is it a phone in show decides what people can discuss? As long as nobody is being offensive, swearing what's the problem?

The idea that one couldn't call and question the validity of anything King says due to his past in South Africa is simply absurd.

Listening to Scott McDonald and Barry Ferguson defending Bowman's tackle on Tierney on the BBC Sportsound podcast was sick-making. Thankfully, Stephen McGowan was having none of it. "He got his toe on the ball," said McDonald.

Technically correct

Unfortunately as he did so his leg was straight and waist high and he did so with excessive force before slamming his studs into his opponents knee

That it's even being discussed is laughable

Considering the way he throws himself to the ground at every little bit of contact, I'd love to see Scott McDonald's reaction if someone did that to him - 'oh, I suppose he got a toe on the ball, fair dinkum mate'

On sportscene Steven Thompson and the other guy whose name I can't remember were unequivocal that it should have been a straight red, no questions asked.

I note that BFDJ claimed last night that the referees "simply aren't good enough". A bit of a change from the "honest mistakes" days when they went on strike because we complained that they simply weren't good enough.

Funny that eh :nono:

Not as funny as watching them die again though :lolhuns:

I know but even so when one mentions certain things they cut them off.

I am surprised the panel itself doesn't mention King and his ability to lie under oath questioning the credibility of his character.

Rangers don't have to finish second they just have to get into Europe

:lmao:
How long till the story becomes: Rangers don't have to get into Europe - just finish in the top 6.

Followed shortly by: Rangers don't have to finish in the top as as long as they avoid the playoffs. You know the rest.

It seems to me that the sad hun are pinning all their hopes on the certainty of getting into Europe via a top 4 finish. If I was one of them I'd actually be keechin it that they have to face the split, when it will be 5 matches of dog eats dog competition. How will they relish having to face us, the sheep, the diets and ? over the last 5 games, especially if their present rich vein of form persists?

Ex Hun or not he's a decent pundit as is Michael Stewart. That said I don't watch Sportscene every week so no doubt someone will have an example of him being an arse

The whole Europe thing is a joke anyway.

They wont last long and will likely be gone within 2 qualifying rounds.

They have about as much chance as St Johnstone of making it to round 1 proper.
