I wonder if Level 5 have decided that the manager must be undermined then removed? It would be Jabbas style to get his minions to rile 'ra people and put pressure on the city trader (copyright every journo that's written a story about Mr Warbles) to force him to resign rather than have The Rangers sack hin abd pay up his contract in full or have him tidy up the garden on a wage. I'm sure that's how they started when they wanted McCoist out.
Yep, the phone-ins circa Swally were full of premeditation from the masses before the actual chop* came.

I bet Ally wasn't the brightest bulb in the garden.

Billy Davies is more likely - no compensation
Davies has not managed a club in almost 3 years and has only spent just under 1.5 of the last 5 years actually being a manager.
Just the type of cheap option they are looking for.

No compensation
used to working with small numbers
usually employed by skint clubs

Watty tactics are the order of the day for this lot now - they need to regroup and make themselves harder to beat instead of trying to play expansive football with a bunch of diddies

Davies fits the mould

Caller on Clyde a few minutes ago calling from England, started to say that the full story about the huns' financial situation was not being reported, and that their problems went way beyond who should be manager if Warburton got sacked. He started to get into details when they mysteriously lost his call in mid-sentence..... :ponder:
Heard that and thought it was very strange as well. Usually that weasel Gerry McCulloch would at least wait a few more seconds and repeatedly say the caller's name before going to the next one if they 'lost the caller' but he practically jumped immediately to the next guy. Very questionable if they really lost the call rather than just dropping it altogether. Suspicious stuff.
I heard about that and wanted to hear it on the podcast today. It wasn't included in the podcast.. :ponder:
On Twitter today Roger Hannah said that Clyde risked litigation if they let the guy continue.
I assume he means being sued.
Hannah being asked via Twitter if The Sun will pursue.
The fact guy was cut off and Hannah's Tweet suggests Clyde knew what was coming next.
The print media do themselves a diservice when they fail to delve and investigate allegations (Tax Justice Report on SFA for example).

Nature abhors a silence and human nature suspects it's because there is something to hide.

What was he saying or alluding to? :ponder: Anyone able to paraphrase it?

I'd imagine there's a good 5 second delay or so on that show, so quite easy for them to cut him off in good time.

What's the point of phoning in if no one can get a point across before being cut off I don't see why Clyde could be sued tbh as surely the person stating said fact or lie whatever it may be is the one who would be responsible and there's literally no way he or she could be traced.

I wonder if the main topic of conversation on Clyde and Sportsound tonight will be "that penalty" again. :ffs: If the MSM debated the controversial decisions, penalties and offsides etc. which have went against us over the years then there would be nothing else to talk about :nono:

Not sure that's true. I'm sure he cloud be traced..

Plus. I am sure some liability lies with Clyde as the medium used to vent the opinion, in the same way this forum won't allow certain discussion points being made if they are treading close to the law.

Which only proves that beyond any legal recourse, John Greig really is a bastard.

What about the archetypal smug Hun that was on earlier last night, Mark from Giffnock?

He always alludes to "being in the know" and claimed that GASL and The Loaf hadn't spoken in a year, and that there was no relationship there.

Gerrysoupslurper was keen to ask who his source was.....what happened if Smug Mark wasn't quite as sharp and blurts out "well my pal is director XX and he told me".................surely Clyde would be liable for eliciting that disclosure too?
