Technically not about the phone in but... Mixu Paateleinan is on RS with Cosgrove and Cowan and there are constant references about Henrik and some sort of personal thing Paateleinan has against Henrik. I've heard it mentioned before but they've never said what it is. Anyone know the story behind it??

Tommy Docherty basically told Scotland fans to grow the eff up.
I walked out of Hampden never to return to a Scotland game when John Collins got booed while being brought on as a sub in 91 against Bulgaria.
Don't know what age you are but I'm early 60s and I can assure you that particular penny has been
repeatedly dropping since I copped myself on in the Jimmy Johnstone Davie Hay days.

Eff The SFA team and their scummy Hun support!

Tommy Docherty should have spoken up about the abuse Celtic players got when playing for this lovely little bigoted country as ours to highlight it , but no, just like everyone else at the time, just bury your head in the sand and kid on its not happening :suspect: I am also in my 60's and I too turned my back on our national team because of the treatment our players got, especially wee Jinky from hun fans who genuinely thought Scotland as another Sevco type team in their blue tops, white shorts and the same socks as the huns wore at the time :cuckoo:

I continued going to the Scotland games even after the abuse Jinky got - I was at Hampden when Kenny was at his height - think it was against Spain - huns behind us slagged him throughout the match and were apoplectic every time Jim Bett got the ball - Kenny scored a spectacular goal that night - my mate turned round to the huns and said "He's shampoo right enough" - "well that wasn't bad was their retort". Mindless morons.
I gave up after a friendly against Northern Ireland - Anton Rogan was playing for them and the NI fans abuse of him was an absolute disgrace - the huns amongst the Scotland fans joined in - I decided that was to be my last game watching Scotland. I've been back - my brothers are in the Tartan Army and sometimes have spare tickets, so I've been a few times since, but no longer have the passion for following Scotland.

times have changed since then.

it's now huns who feel uncomfortable when amongst the tartan army.

when that carling nations cup was on a few years ago i drove up
to dublin for the scotland game against norn iron and i can
assure you there was no camoradery between the two sets of fans.

gstq was drowned out by boos from the scotland end and the
norn iron fans were greeted to a chorus of 'are you england in disguise?'

drove back down to cork straight after the game but read in the papers
the following morning that there was trouble between the 2 sets
of fans in dublin that night which at the time didn't surprise me.

Listened on the way back from work.

Gerry couldn't pick between Dembele and Griffiths cos he didn't have an opinion of the two. What footballing journalist doesn't have an opinion on two of the best strikers in the country? Pathetic.

He only decided on Griffiths after being prompted further from the caller about team selection for tomorrow. The reasoning being his old school style of play :ponder:

Cue Garner chat straight after from BFDJ.

SSB really is a dreadful show. Its the same garbage every night with no level of discussion at all.

I see sportscene has also embarked on the moussa/Griffiths chat, both panelist reckoning that Brendan should accommodate both players in the team, this, after only winning 13 out of the 14 games played.
Personally, I think it calls for a cracked crest.
