Dare I say Ambrose or Mulgrew should have been CH last night. Boyata looks a long way off being ready to play at this level.

Eff me the guy has made about 10 starts in 4 years, of course he is going to be rusty but some of the criticism here is way over the top
No it isn't. It isn't too much to expect him to at least do the basics right and he can't even seem to get those right.

Why did Ronny fail to make a player out of Berget and Age did?

RD's "philosophy" approach would surely have managed that, no?

Sadly, this nice man is looking more & morel like an impostor today.

for a lad with his build he is totally powderpuff in the challenge he for some reason gets dominated in the air by any above average target man. Rosenberg targeted Boyata all last night

I'm willing to give him time, but it's not looking great so far.

He's currently sitting at around 6.5/10 on the Ambrose bombscare chart.

Why did Eriksson make Veron look a player when Fergie didn't?

Berget wasn't very good last night.

I'm clearly in the minority but I think Boyata was ok last night.

He certainly wasn't at fault for either of the goals.

Dont think he's too bad. Reads the game well, not good on the ball mind you but can defend.

He needs games and time to settle and gain his confidence back. Sadly, our transfer policy has thrown him in the deep-end and already set him back. It's not really his fault. He should have been bought along with an experienced head with the purpose of being introduced once Virgil left and given the season to get up to speed.

Says more about our players who felt the need to foul him every time he was on the ball then

Agree. Not a ball player but has some positives defensively. Needs someone more composed beside him and I'm not sure how he'll do in the air, need to see a bit more of him.

Thought he was far from the worst last night.

Berget, like most of their team, is pish. It's just our players made them good.

He was at fault for the first goal the same way people blamed Ambrose for the last goal in the first leg.
