I think you're getting him mixed up with Lustig?
Is he talking about the one waghorn missed?

If so I think it was him.
https://youtu.be/NDvbF-GSu0Y

First highlight. He’s been far from reliable against Sevco.

Aye. Lustig was to morelos I think.

Boyata has had too many chances. Anderlecht away was the exception not the norm.

I think Brendan really rated him though. On the plus side he's a threat from sets, if we ever put a decent ball in 😂😂

not comfortable when forced out to the flanks as part of a back 3, a lot happier when he has a lb or rb beside him as part of a back 4, when we went to a back 4 he was excellent and cleared everything

Boyata has had far more good games for us than he has bad. He’s criminally under rated by most of our fans.

He did seem to settle down late in the game and just start kicking the ball into touch, which was fine with me at that point, but by then the damage was done.

Our best CB this season (Ajer) getting shifted about to make room for this calamity could have cost us yesterday. How about, you play well, you get to keep your spot? Putting the older, supposedly more experienced Boyata at right back and letting Ajer stay where he's been doing well just makes more sense. I don't get it.

We played the whole game with a back 4.

Apart from 6 months last season he has been totally unreliable. That can’t be disputed.

I can’t believe people still defend this guy. He is absolute mince. Always has been and always will be. He’s had a handful of good games for us, mostly against crap teams (Anderlecht away the exception).

His first half performance yesterday was amongst the worst I’ve seen from a Celtic player and fitness didn’t have anything to do with it. He makes dreadful decisions throughout the game, he’s hopeless with the ball at his feet and looked shaky when any sevco player ran at him.

It can. He’s been reliable for the most part this season. He was shocking yesterday though.

Like at home to Bayern? Away to Hearts and Hibs? He’s let us down a few times in big games this season.

He made a poor mistake against Bayern. Away to Hibs and Hearts was very much the Simunovic show.

Looked a flat 4 to me. Ajer was at right back and moved in one when Hendry came on. I agree Boyata looked more comfortable when Ajer was next to him as opposed to Simunovic but as said above, the damage had already been done.

Simunovic was worse but Boyata hardly covered himself in glory in those games.

I understand football fans have different opinions but I don’t see how people can continually make excuses and defend this guy.

Efe Ambrose was a joke figure by the end of his tenure with us but he was a big part of the team that made it into the last 16 of the CL and was part of the defence that kept the clean sheet record in Lennons final year. Boyata hasn’t accomplished any of those things and let’s us down just as much yet has so many defending him. I don’t get it.

He’s really not. Even when the guy is the absolute stand out player on the park (Hearts at home for example), folk still don’t give him credit for it. He’s our best centre back who was put in a really bad position yesterday and in turn had a stinker.

I give him credit when it’s due, I’ve acknowledged his 6 months of good form last season.

I don’t think he’s our best centre half. Ajer has looked far more solid. Compper could well be better too but need to see more of him.

Ajer/Hendry - Compper is how I’d go from now on in. I’ve had enough of Boyata and Jozo aswell now.

There's a mistake in him all time. I grit my teeth every time he takes a second touch. Has all the physical attributes, in fact I think that's why he plays. Unfortunately concentration and judgement lacking. Yesterday wasn't a one off, although I accept their is mitigation there as he maybe shouldn't have started due to fitness.

He's not got it mentally. Hes not good enough.

Yesterday was Loovensesque. In fact it was worse than that other haddie Wilson.

If he's untrustworthy at 27. He's always going to be.
A big game he's a bag of nerves.
