I think it's more of jozo's injury problems on why he isn't getting played more regular but i would prefer Boyata and Jozo from now on if fit

One wee lapse let waghorn in, but much better than erik imho. He was dominant in the aerial battles (which I think erik struggles with which is an big issue), and his decent pace bailed us out a couple times but his distribution is so poor that it stops us building from the back effectively I think. It also puts us under pressure in dangerous areas of the park. I'm still unconvinced and I think there is a mistake in him. Think we need to stick way him and Jozo for next few games though.

I've not seen it back yet, but should he have cleared the one that Waghorn went through the centre on at the start of the match?

Yep. A terrible error. Only bad finishing and good goalkeeping has meant it has slipped under the radar.

Despite his improvement this season, he has one major passing error under no pressure or a single switch of in concentration in most games. He largely gets away with it due to the quality of the opposition in our league. He won`t in Europe.

He needs to cut out these out, others like Armstrong have ironed out the small parts of their game such as easily conceding possession, if he can do it too he has all the physical attributes to be a very good player.

Like others have noted he doesn`t seem to have formed as good a partnership as Erik and Jozo looked earlier in the season but am not sure that`s his fault.

Agreed. It was a total howler

I thought in the main he was ok v the Hun and wasn't helped by shockers from Lustig and Sviatchenko.

Apart from that slip up I thought he was one of our better players. Best of the back four anyways.

I thought he was wrong footed by whatever change of direction Miller's header put on the ball. As we clear the ball (Erik's header) you can see Boyata stepping out of defence - he's practically side-on facing the North Stand so that he has a view of how far to move to catch Waghorn offside. He must've noticed that Waghorn was goal side of Erik, but in turning to face them he turns his back on Lustig.

Erik's out of position after attacking the ball, Tierney & Boyata step up to leave Waghorn "offside" and Lustig just stands there playing him on. Maybe Boyata should have got something on the ball as it bounces past him, but you also have to look at Lustig's role in this.

Not really surprising given that he made squads last year even when his form was poor last year

He was great in the air, and his passing was fine.

Got done for the goal, but that move was started by Khouassi.
