Roberts will have more options down south than sitting in the stand at City.

He will end up at a Stoke or Crystal Palace.
That would be an absolute waste.

Seems like the kind of player that needs to be in a winning team, kind of like Sinclair.

Relegation / mid-table fodder in England has no room for luxury players.
He doesn't want to be here which is the major stumbling block.

He wants another crack at Man City, probably due to getting to work with Pep

Your opinion seems to be based on the Boyata of 18 months ago.
His passing hasn't cost us anything this season.

Rubbish play from GMS, a handball by Lustig, and terrible marking by half the team, but yeah, it was all caused by a bad pass several passages of play beforehand.

St Mirren got the free kick within 10 secs of that pass from Boyata, maybe you should have a look at the replay, plus he was ball watching when Sutton won the header for the goal

In terms of bad passes by a Celtic CB, it doesn't rank on the Gillespie/Efe/Mulgrew scale.

His marking of Sutton was more concerning than his passing

Even during his purple patch of recent games, he has got away with quite a few mental passes.

I think all the CBs are suffering from the reintroduction of Bitton to the deep lying midfield role.
Earlier in the season Brown was dropping between them, and taking the ball out from the back.

With Rogic injured, Brown is further forward, and Bitton does at times just leave the defenders with the ball without providing an angle for a pass.
Yesterday I thought he went hiding.

I'm not his biggest fan.

Sunday will be the big test for Boyata, after that debacle last season. He was a rabbit caught in the headlights and ran ragged by the poly bag, before going off 'injured'.

It'll be interesting to see who BR goes with. Personally, I'd go with Jozo and Sviatchenko every day of the week.

He was injured- he did his hamstring, a problem he aggravated again two months later, forcing him to miss the Euros.

The manager likes him.

Think the guy has done really well recently and certainly doesn't deserve the negativity. Judge him on the now, and perhaps if some of our midfielders did their job better then we would not require the centre backs to have so much of the ball.

He was poor first half as was most the team but can't help but feel he's an easy scapegoat target for some of the support.
