He doesn't just header the ball, he tries to kill it with his forehead.

Absolutely hated this guy after the semi final last year and thought his performance was unforgivable, but he has certainly improved under Brendan
He was taken off injured after about 20 minutes.

Would be surprised if he wasn't called up by Belgium in March. Was always on the cusp of their squad last season when he was not playing regularly for us and with the injury and form of some other centrebacks I think he'll be in Martinez's thoughts

Genuinely feels like a new signing. So powerful and his passing from the back is better than any of our centre halves. Is he our best defender?

I've never seen a transformation in any Celtic player like the one I'm witnessing with Boyata. Watching today I remeber the ball going to Boyata in a tight situation, he controls, beats a man and produces a fine pass, quite incredible given last year he made a habit of making 3 yard passes to the oppisition.

Petrov was quite a turnaround.

Kelvin Wilson another example (ignore Flawless)

He made a couple of really good and important challenges the day. Easy to overlook when you win that convincingly.

Petrov was overweight and playing at RB. Once he got fit and moved into CM his potential was there to see.

Boyata's turnaround has been about confidence and concentration imo

I know it's been said, but just want to add my Own note of appreciation.

The transformation has been quite unbelievable. Looks so confident, very comfy on the ball now, picks his time well to carry the ball out of defence too.

strolled it today.
He definitely did. But in fairness his ma could have strolled it in our defence today.

At the moment and on current form he certainly is.

Thought that again today his positional play was excellent. Seems to be reading the game very well and mopping up nicely. Whatever happens he surely is a squad player. Well done son.

It's not just the defensive errors he's cut out, he was doing drag backs and pinging balls out to Forrest all game. Right now the other two centre backs who looked like forming an excellent partnership need to fight eachother to play alongside him and rightly so.
