I'd keep him. Would probably cost us more to sign someone worse.
So? The replacement might be consistent now & again.

Forrest is consistent now and again - its the gaps between the now and again that are the problem.

I'm a big fan of the notion or idea of James Forrest but he has been very disappointing when he has played this season...which (for me) hasn't always been the case - the disappointment has usually come in his ability to remain fit.

Would be sad to see him go but to be honest, within a few weeks, I'd likely have forgotten he was gone and just assumed he was injured.

Consistently pish maybe. Really canny mind the last time he looked decent for three or four weeks in a row.

That's more to do with injuries, the times he was available last season and the first couple of months this season he was very good - there were times when he was subbed off early and could have had even more impact (similar to the way that Rogic is currently being managed). Even though I've said he's been disappointing this season, performance-wise, this is really from December onwards - when Forrest featured (which admittedly wasn't week in/week out) for the first few months of the season, he impacted upon games positively.

Far from pish but heyho, that's the consensus for the player and it's probably best for us and him to move him on.

Wow he came on and was half decent against demoralised opposition. Player of the year awaits.

Was the best performer out of all our subs but you wouldn't think so if you read forums and social media.

Sell & buy Falk for £300k or whatever.
Can we loan him to Hibs?

He was. By a good bit. But then its no really much of a compliment given we were already 5 up and McGregor was the MOTM.

No he wasn't

His goal was a beauty but other than that Allan's involvement and overall play was far greater.

It wasn't really. Forrest linked up really well with his teammates and was involved as much as Allan despite starting off in wide areas. He played better but he's a known quantity and for some reason some are desperate to get rid of him. Strange.

Its got eff all to do with anything other than Allan being better tonight than Forest.

The only desperation is you desperatly trying to find the tiniest crumb of comfort when it comes to Forest. His time is up. Face facts.
