In fairness to James, it was quite cold last night and the game was won and it was a Friday night. I'm always struggling on a Friday after a working week.

Forrest has to wake up to the fact that, currently, he can't get a start before any of MacGregor, Armstrong or Commons. He should be a far better option than all of them.

I have always defended Forrest, based on what he can bring when he is at top of his game. Starting to forget what game is now, really does not look interested and recent games has contributed nothing other than giving aaway stupid free kick v hearts which resulted in a goal then last night luckyvnot to concede a penalty. Needs to sort his attitude quickly.

He can and he will. RD rotates the attacking 3 the most but with no Europe, game cancellations and dropped points there is more onus on consistency of selection.

Forrest's injury record over last year had been much better but there remains a nervousness about him starting. That will definitely be a factor which RD will consider along with pitches and weather conditions.

Did Forrest start every Europa league game?

Wonder why his form hasn't then?

I thought his poor form was just down to injuries, people said.

Pure pace players always seem to struggle in our set up and Forrest has been a pure pace kind of talent. We just don't get pressed enough domestically for quick players to take advantage of. It doesn't matter how fast you are when there's only 5 yards of turf to play in.

I'd like him to stay and at the same time he might progress better in a different environment than ours.

Sums it up and while he's had the odd good game on the left it's not doing him any favours to further restrict him there.
Play him on the right if he's playing at all.

He'll be 25 in the summer I don't see him progressing anymore than his current level. Technically he's poor if you took away his pace as you mention he'd offer very little at all.

Personally I'd probably keep him if his wages aren't too excessive but only as cover for first team.

If we do put him up for sale will there realistically be any takers?

A few years back I'd have been upset to see him go but now not so much.

I can see him getting a contract extension because it's exactly that kind of mistake we seem to make all too regularly.

Fair point but he has to adapt then does he not?
