Terrific once again, absolutely terrific.

Keep up the consistency James and you may even win over those some of those dullards at Celtic games who give you stick when it's not remotely merited

I've given the wee man stick before (on here I might add, not at games) but I'm more than happy to give him praise when he deserves it
He was fantastic last night, please let this be a turning point for him

Did well last night, and didn't get much protection from the ref.

Faded badly towards the end, but he wasn't the only one.

Could have typed this word for word myself. Was brilliant at times last night and he was actually good at getting back as well which isn't something he is renowned for.

Getting him fit was the first thing.

Keeping him fit is the second thing.

Getting him a run of games at a high level will do wonders for him. The pace is still there, the work rate was there last night.

With Jamesie now, it's about hopefully the confidence that comes with starts. He needs to become more intelligent in his use of the ball and to execute more passes.

If we get him to add the passing threat to his ability to run past people like they aren't there, what a player we could have.

Liked his attitude last night. Will be crucial next Tuesday.

He was good last night. Needs to figure out what he's going to do whenever he cuts in though.

Baffled that people can still be moaning about his performance and abilities when he's like that.

He was excellent on both sides of the ball. That is what he can do when he stays fit for a wee while, gets a run of games and gets his confidence. Hopefully he's got his traning regime right now

If absolutely nothing else, in a team as depressingly limited as ours, a player with the attitude he showed last night will always find a starting place

As per Chili Peppers comments (and others)
Good, getting better. Still looks (at times) he is holding back - either indecision as to what to do or not wishing to over extend himself.
Only need to look over at poor bastard Lustig to see why

Looks like he's no longer scared to run at full pelt, gave their left back a roasting last night.

If he can improve his final ball, more displays like last night will make him a real asset.

Thought he was great last night and it's a relief to finally see him fit again.

I'd have loved to have seen him switch to the left last night so he was cutting in again, on form and playing there he can rip teams apart.

Going to be key next week so don't expect to see him this weekend.

At the top of his game he's the best player in our squad. And I include VVD in that.

He's had a nightmare with injuries and now he's having to contend with abuse from our own fans, but in the last few games he's started to look like the player we thought he could be when he broke through a few years back.

A consistent run without injuries and he'll be the most exciting player in the league (again).
