best player defensively and offensively for me today , he was everywhere . he tracked back so many times and really caused panic any time he ran at their defenders. Hope its a sign that he has his confidence back.

Final ball is still poor and he left the full back exposed at times by just meandering back. So much potential, but I just don't think he delivered tonight.

Thought he was excellent tonight. His final ball is rotten but he was our out ball all night and worked his arse off. Towards the end where he chased the guy down and won us the free kick :worthy:
Pretty accurate although how anyone looks good delivering a final ball to one man (at best) attacking any space I am not sure.

Surely people can see the reason why if you were the manager of Celtic with a bunch of coulda , shoulda, wouldas in the final third you would be prepared to give Forrest time.

Still not for me, running into brick walls doesn't do it for me.

Brown put in a few better crosses on the right wing than he did, fair play to him tracking back a few times though and actually worked tonight.

As a threat to any defence ? he's well worked out.

Not for me, wouldn't miss him.

They kicked him all over the park as they realised he was the only one who could run past them with ease.

He gives us a good outlet, but I still think he flatters to deceive at times, and passes the buck when he has a bit of responsibility.

A few good opportunities to shoot or produce something creative, and he ducked out of it. It may be a lack of confidence, but that is only tolerable for so long before it becomes unacceptable for one of our main attacking 'threats'.

As did Kilmarnock and he was our best player in both games.

Looks fitter than ever.

Great performance, hope he keeps it up, will be key next week.

He also seems to have grown a neck.

Very good tonight, especially first half. When he goes at defenders at pace he really frightens them.

Final ball still lacking though.

Not voted for him in the motm thread (genuinely believe there were 4 or 5 players who played really well, Forrest included. 3 or 4 the opposite), but tonight and last Wednesday are among his best displays in a long time.

Delighted for him after enduring some horrendous injury trouble and even worse flak from the support. Its been a while coming but he's clicked into gear.

Long may it continue.

I'm a big critic of Forrest but anyone criticising him tonight doesn't have a clue.

By far our best player going forward and put in a great shift defensively too,

I just wish he would attack a ball a bit more when he makes runs into the box, we all know what a good finisher he can be.

Played well tonight.

I know what his threat is bud, but his passing and cross balls are shampoo.

I don't want him to fail at Celtic, no way. I just think the boy is so predictable now, and even I could push him onto the touchline and watch him lying on his erse.

He'll probably come out at the weekend and score a belter, if he's fit, but he's just not for me.

I thought we had a cracker a few years back seeing him on CTV for the youths.

It's not going to happen, sadly. :(
