Great game tonight, hopefully he can keep it up.
Not normally a fan as I find he can be frustrating, but credit where it's due.

Played well strange change by Ronnie.
He hurt his thigh so couldn't take the chance with him.

Best he's played in years IMO.

Best game in ages. Adapted to the pitch better than anybody else. Not getting carried away as it's one game and it was Kilmarnock, but well done young man.

Much better tonight, but always waiting on the hamstring going. Playing his way into contention for Malmo.

Suits our system so much better coming in off the left.

Brilliant tonight. MOTM
totally agree far more effective on the left......

a big game against Malmo could turn his career around..

One swallow doesn't make a summer but surely tonight shows why Ronnie wants to give him a chance especially on a night where our other forward players look so mediocre. Would love him to kick on and make a reallcontribution this season. When he plays like he does tonight looks to have some stuff we don't have elsewhere in the squad.

Had the shampoo kicked out of him and was offered no protection from the ref.

Fud in front of me shouting "effing do something" every time James was on the ball. Just can't win with some people.

Tonight was much more like it - a reminder of what he can do and its great to see him getting more game time.

One of his biggest critics but if he continues to play like that, it would be hard to leave him out.

Arsehole behind me called him a shampooebag at every opportunity. Including when the killie player left a leg hanging and took him out game. Throbber of a man he was.

Offered more than Mackay-Stevens has recently.

The ref gave him no protection at all. He was booted at every opportunity but still kept plugging away.

By far the best James has played in a looooonnnnggg time also he looked to have more bottle and fight about him.
Can only hope this isn't just a flash in the pan and we get a few more performances like that

I'm a critic too but no denying he played great last night. Easily the best attacking display from any of our players this season. I think he'll start v Malmo as he did more tonight than GMS has all season. I would rest him v ICT and hopefully he can take it up next week from where he left off last night.

Last night was a good reminder of his talents. He brings a punchy directness to our play that we otherwise don't really have.

The squad is better for having him in it.

playing on the left doesnt often work for him, but it did last night.
