He won those throw ins when we weren't getting in behind them or creating anything. The ball was going from side to side then back. At least Forrest added some verticle movement. He didn't play great but if your first thought watching that tonight is to criticise Forrest you are allowing other things to rather than the game to inform your opinion. GMS was really poor. Making wrong runs and passing the buck when it came to creating. Johansen was really poor. Armstrong not much better. Btowns passing was awful. But aye, Forrest, a second half sub who at least got us up the park, is the guy to criticise.

Forrest has one job on a football pitch: get to the byline and cross the ball. That's it. If he can't do it - and he didn't manage it once tonight - there's no point in having him around. He contributed zero tonight.

Can't help but blame him for his lack of progression, and nothing else. A real pansy, remember he came off with a headache once? Makes you wonder how severe his countless list of injuries actually were.

Wasn't the worst of our attackers. Wasn't that good either. At least he tried to take his fullback on and won some throw ins.
Sums it up. Speaks volumes that that is a decent contribution from him.

He was blowing out his erse at one point tonight. This after only being on 10 minutes.

Looks a shadow of the promising player a few years back. Possibly bulked up too much as well? Definitely not got that "electric" turn of pace he once had.

What a daft thing to say. If you'd put me on the pitch, I'd have "tried" to beat my man too. I wouldn't have managed it, but it's nice to know you'd have appreciated the effort. We've sunk to a new low if that's worthy of praise.

I've tried to give him time and have been told that he is actually our best attacking player is training, pitty he can't take that into the matches! I'm willing to give him this season to have a run of games and hopefully be injury free. If this doesn't happen then it's definitely time to cut our losses with him.

Clueless. His first act tonight was to knock the ball past the fullback who was about 3 or 4 yards away and try to beat him. Just not very good.

Thought he was ok but the lack of variety in his game makes him very easy to defend against for a reasonably quick full back.

Put a cross out for a goal kick.

Starting his 6th season in our first team, still has the same failings as he did on his debut

At one point he was about 6 yards away from the player when he tried to knock it by him. Was effing tragic.

In my opinion he's a waste of a jersey! He has one attribute and I'm sure that's on the wane too!
If he's still got pace he's certainly forgot how to use it effectively.

There were a few poor performances tonight and I thought Armstrong was honking and deserved to be hooked but I can only shake my head in despair when James Forrest is the one to replace him!

It's time for him to find his level and it's somewhere below Celtic!
