One of his better games in a long time, seemed happy to put his body on the line for the team and looked liked he wanted to give their left back a nightmare of a game. Honestly don't know why he can't do this more often, we know he's capable of it.

The Maestro

It's a bit of cliche but confidence is such a big part of his game, his first involvement was running at the full back and drawing a foul. He kicked on from there. Excellent performance and a great finish for his goal.

Excellent. He's a right good player. I hope Jonny Hayes has a great career at Celtic, but he's nowhere near James' level.

Another good finish from him today.

I'm already looking forward to him being written off again next year

Class again. The guy is a proper player. He also has better hair than Stuart, for the record.

Super finish today. Didn't play that great but imo none of the front line were that great today due to all the changes. A very good start to the season.

Page 4 James' thread was on.

Says it all really about how the Celtic support view Forrest.

The lad can't even muster a song.

2 goals and an assist in a 4-0 win can't grumble with that

His name is James.

He leaves us dazed.

He runs for fun.

Until he pulls his hamstring.
