If I was Jamesie, I'd buy a eurolottery ticket. He got lucky last night. It was his terrible first touch that confused his marker and allowed him to get his shot away, which was the toe-ender to end all toe-enders! He reverted to his "pull-your-hair-out" norm when he missed the easiest one-on-one he's ever likely to get. :brickwall:

Forrest is neither as bad as his critics say nor good as his fanboys claim. He is what he is, inconsistent and injury prone but with the happy knack of scoring critical goals. And last night's WAS critical. Thanks, wee man.

Forrest is a winger, sometimes it wont come off. If paddy scored that goal last night we would all be up in adoration. Secondly, he has scored extremely valuable goals for Celtic before.

Not unlikely that he'll have provided the single decisive contribution in qualifying for 2 CL campaigns.

He'd literally be the most valuable player in Celtic's history.

He didn't lead the line all that well in the first half I felt, but he isn't a centre forward by any means so hats of to him for doing the job BR asked him to do. Much better out right in the second and gave us much more than Hayes did going outside or inside. Took the goal very well. Good performace.

Forrest winner yesterday earned us around £6m, his goal against Shakhter Karagandy some £10m-£12m

CL money weren't that big in Larsson's time

His goal yesterday could be the decisive contribution in earning us £25m. You can't put a price on that.

he was a different player after he scored, confidence is the key for this guy, quite happy for him to hang around and play his part just like last season

Missed a simple one on one after he scored. Would hate to have seen how much of an arse he would have made of it if his confidence had been low.

Great goal, very good squad player. Please sign Roberts

Never been his biggest fan but always had time for him and accepted that his ability when he turns it on added to his relatively low wages make him an invaluable squad player.

Mate, that's really good of you.

Fair play to him, he was much improved from the first leg
