He is a very, very lucky boy to still be at Celtic.

He isn't and has never been good enough for us.

Since he has broken into the first team he's had a good half a season - if that and a few flashes of brilliance but contributed feck all-else (I know he has been injured for some of that).

I honestly fail to see what some others (Remy) see in this guy.

He's an imposter.

When was his good half season ?
Sporadically, over the seven or so seasons he has been in the team.

Perhaps it's not half a season, maybe a full season spread out over the years.

It's time to give up the ghost with this guy

I'm amazed our last three managers have persisted with him as a first choice given this overwhelming evidence you've produced.

Didn't see the game. Rodgers reckons he had a great game and says he'll lead the line on Wednesday if Griffiths is out. Could be a good move. Has pace and can finish. Still would rather Griffiths makes it.

This is his 8th full season in the team. My biggest gripe with Forrest is that he's never really developed.

He's exactly the same player now as the one who broke into the side in 2010.
Agree to an extent.

I think Forrest is all he's ever going to be. I too had higher hopes, but still, he's a very talented footballer, who on his day can worry a lot of defenders. Has that real electric turn, and Rodgers knew straight away how vital pace is and that's why he signed him immediately last season. He had a cracking season last year, and I'm sure he will play more games than not this one.

Yes, he had a cracking season 2016-17, and he may well have another cracking season 2017-18, once it gets underway. If he scores for us in Norway, it will be fun reading this thread.

I suspect if he scores and plays well in Norway this thread will be full of praise for him like it was during his good spell last season.

Statistically the best right winger we've had since Jinky.
More goals than any other player in that position, including McGeady, in fact he equalled McGeadys total having played around 40 fewer games.
Has a similar number of assists as well.
Scored in two league cup finals, overall has 11 winners badges so far. Not bad for a whole career never mind a guy in his mid 20s.

The thought of him as a striker in a huge game like this gives me the fear no end. Disappears when the going gets tough way too many times for my liking.

Hope to hell LG makes it.
