The wee effing diddy is never a football player...

Up yeez Fannies.
Is he related to you? Seriously?

You take more pleasure in proving other posters wrong (for now) than just praising Forrrest's display today

He was excellent. Sometimes he isn't.

He is still a total shampooebag as well
On days like yesterday, you let it slide, but, in general it's a terrible trait for a contact sport

I don't really get the told you so attitude to a players ability/form. As a players form fluctuates throughout his career so does the general publics view of his ability and their opinion of him. Everyone has a right to change their opinion of any individual. My opinion on most Celtic players has flip-flopped on countless occasions. It will continue to until I die. last weeks Hero can be this weeks fud.

Iusedtobeindecisivebutimnotsurenow.csc
I agree but it's the "finality" of some comments, often based on the most recent game, like "This game proved that xxxxx should never be near our squad" or "XXXX is just not good enough for Celtic and never will be." Or another favourite "I never want to see XXXX in the hoops again."
Criticism is part of the game, but so often people are prepared to write off a player's career when he may just be currently off form.

Probably the reason why some folk don't even have him in their top 3 for MoTM. :suspect:

I'm sorry but anyone who watched that game yesterday and didn't have Forrest in their top three is either blinded or utterly clueless.

The fact he did it in a cup final as well was pleasing. Stepped up especially with Sinclair missing.

Can't believe the difference in him just goes to show attitude has a massive part in a footballers game he could have kept his head down ran down his contract till Jan then moved on but went the other way burst his baws and proved he is good enough to play for the team he loves. Fair play

Can't answer for James95, but personally I have never thought of Forrest in those terms. He is willing to take on defenders and it takes bravery to try to get past a full back knowing you might be put up in the air. I have no problem with skill players jumping over tackles to avoid injury if that's what you mean. Europe is full of very good players who do just that, including Messi himself.
