He's better than Roberts. He's been really excellent this season.
No he isn't.

He's playing better than Roberts currently.
Yeah, he's not better than Roberts in all the criteria that count, he's only playing better than him which, let's face it, really isn't that important for a footballer :ffs:
Current form doesn't determine who is a better footballer.

Griffiths was in better form than Dembele before his injury. Only an absolute idiot would ever argue he was a better footballer.

He is. Comfortably so.
He has less ability than Roberts but is on better form.
Paddy McCourt has more "ability" than both combined.

Ability is only useful when combined with work rate and decision making.

Roberts is a very long way behind JF in those other 2. He genuinely defends as often Paddy McCourt did.

Well when Roberts shows some consistent form and a decent final ball(the stick often used to beat Forrest) maybe you can get back to us. Until then I'll say the one who's playing best is the best footballer.

Up yeez Fannies.
Is he related to you? Seriously?

You take more pleasure in proving other posters wrong (for now) than just praising Forrrest's display today

He was excellent. Sometimes he isn't.

I think he just likes to dig out old posts to make people look daft.

The last one is amusing. I really don't know who he is either. Should we?

Doubt that'd be more than just idle rumour mill wish but even if this is the case I don't see why he'd sign on again just to leave at the first opportunity.

I think it's a new found belief in his abilities that is the difference now. It's like that once he's gone past someone he now trusts himself to make the correct decision and execute it properly. For the past couple of seasons he'd do the first part a few times a game and then look lost before slicing the ball out for a throw in. Then that'd make his head drop and he'd jog back to just miss picking up his man on a counter. Now he's smashing it.

Thought he was great yesterday, but it's been a long time coming. Hopefully he can maintain this form for a while as I don't think he's looked this good since he initially broke through.
Had really high hopes for him then, but the continual injures obviously played a massive part in his confidence being shot to shampoo.
Most on here won't agree, but Ronny Deila made a point of getting Forrest properly fit and I think we're seeing the benefits of that now.
Long may it continue

Met a Watford scout before the Barca game outside CP.

Wouldn't tell me who he was watching.

Played really well yesterday.

Not just going forward his tracking and general determination to win the ball back was impressive.

I defended him up until the close season. At that point I thought he had stagnated and would never kick on from his past cameos. I would have been happy to see him leave. I am delighted that I was wrong.

His goal was absolute class. Went a bit mental when it went in too which I like to see.
He and his goal finished the Sheep.

I've always liked Forrest. Had a brief lingering doubt last season, but i've taken abuse for mainly sticking with my belief that he is/was one of our best attacking options. So up the lot of yeez.
