Quality. Didn't let his head drop and another quality goal. Roberts has got a real fight on his hands. Can't believe I'm saying that, the turnaround in Forrest this season has been fantastic.
He's playing much better than Roberts at the moment so deserves to keep the place.

He's been excellent this season. Would have punted him in the summer, glad we didn't !

We laughed at the huns for this nonsense but this season Forrest has been as good as a new signing. Best player on the park tonight and capped off with a great goal.

The revival continues. MOTM tonight. A goal with the left...
Glad he got the goal but MOTM is not at all deserved tonight when KT on the same pitch

Best player on the park?

Better than Roberts in first half too

I would've agreed with Tierney but given that it looked like being one of those nights and then Forrest scored I've no problem giving it to him. Overall aye, Tierney was probably the best player on the park but Forrest's contribution was game winning.

Kept going, and got his reward.

Deserves to be starting ahead of Roberts.

I know he scored from it, but he needs to work on his left foot. Would add so much more to his game. 1 on 1 with a defender he's always going to go down the right.

Otherwise, good to see him playing well.

Even as chairman of the PaddyRobertsCSC I agree. Don't think Roberts was as anywhere near as bad as some make out btw, but Forrest's own form has been good and he deserves a place in the team. Hopefully the competition is enough to see Roberts up his own game to the levels of last season and early this season before his injury. It'll be a good headache for the manager to have. Same with Dembele if he can step it up when Griffiths returns.

More pace and more incisive than Roberts . Of the two he looks the more accomplished , though Roberts is still learning.

You can tell he's just back from injury, Roberts needs games to get back to last season level but he'll be on the bench at the weekend. I still wouldn't mind seeing Forrest-Roberts-Sinclair behind Dembele.

I have been questioning Forrest's renaissance in this thread until about a month ago. I felt he wasn't using his acceleration enough to commit the man but he's continuing to improve. He represents a more effective option that Roberts and he's giving us a lot of width and stretch on the right hand side. He's also putting in a good shift tracking back. Great improvement brought about by Rodgers.

Aye, I don't think GMS is good enough for us either, to be fair.
