Thought the wee man was brilliant today. Both offensively and defensively. Constantly found space in the first half and put it some great balls. Had Wallace and McKay all over the place. Deserves his place as a starter
Can only imagine you had flags in your road.

He found space down the right and, more importantly tracked back in a way that has been missing from his game. Other than a wee 10 minute spell in the first half when it looked like MacKay was beginning to dominate, it was all his down that side. Took it to Wallace at every opportunity too.

How many chances did he create?

Quoting limited to 3 levels deep

Shall I go and count?

He had two occasions where he laid it off and the resulting shot was blocked, another couple of crosses no takers, a shot himself that was blocked and that was all in the first half just off the top of my head after watching it again about two hours ago.

He played well, had Wallace well and truly on the back hoof.

There was a moment in the first half as well were I'm sure he made a good defensive block/interception in our penalty box.

He continues to improve under BR.

Fortunate to have two players like this. I am sure Rodgers will know who to start in certain games.
I would have no problem with either being the starter at this particular time.

Not sure what Roberts has done this season to deserve being in front of Forrest!. Forrest is on form, scoring goals and assisting. Keep the boy in and let Roberts work his way back into the side

I thought he was our best player in the first half, he was a constant danger and had Wallace on toast, he faded a bit in the second but he is so improved from last year it genuinely is like having a new player.

Just the immense goal and assist v LIR, the crucial assist in Astana where he was our only threat all game and a performance v Barca that had Luis Enrique come out and say Roberts is set for the very top

I'd have Roberts in for the Barca game. More likely to retain possession which will be vital. Jamesy ain't skinning Jordi Alba for pace and I think Paddy could get more change out of him.

Forrest has been playing well though, without doubt.

Forrest will probably get the start because he's been working so hard off the ball which is key in Barca.

Roberts is more likely to win free kicks though which I think will be our best shot at a goal. We've looked deadly from set pieces this season. Big Kolo must be due a goal :rocker:

Quality. Didn't let his head drop and another quality goal. Roberts has got a real fight on his hands. Can't believe I'm saying that, the turnaround in Forrest this season has been fantastic.
