Been a huge fan of Forrest foe years now and have got into many an argument on here defending him. Towards the end of last season I genuinely thought I had been flogging a dead horse for too long.

Delighted with his current form and hopes he keeps it up. If Rodgers can get Forrest back to this level it's practically a new signing. On form, no club in Scotland can handle him.
Issue we have then is protection from the men in Black which I doubt we'll see. Last season down at kilmarnock they were lining up to boot him with no intervention from the ref and then some wonder why he picks up injuries.

Long may his confidence grow as we're the ones that benefit.
The first part needs to be sorted on the park, if the refs won't deal with it then guys like Brown, Sinclair and Toure are more than capable.

Definitely on the second part. A winger who can score goals, offer real width, can track back to help out defensively and has great pace. Those guys don't come cheap and we have one under our noses in James Forrest.

His resurgence continued today and what a goal. BR going to have a job on his hands keeping players happy this season the way it's shaping up.

Great goal but it's hardly like he hasn't scored those before.
Not under Deila though. Banned* from hitting the ball with outside of foot.

Absolutely delighted that he is now playing as well as his first season suggested, and more than that, he puts in a real shift. He is, to quote WGS, a i am an idiot with no originality. Working hard now, putting in a shift, and covering back. Long may his resurgence continue.

The issue is, Roberts seems to be of a similar mold. Can't play on the left either.

 Exactly. He was constantly hitting them with the outside of the boot.

It's a dilemma we can live with, but it might come down to the fact that Forrest is our player, while Roberts isn't. As long as James keeps his form going, he will start, I think.

I thought Forrest was having a poor game yesterday until he scored. He struggles more against organised defences who sit deep, whereas that's where Robert excels. Whereas teams who push up are more suited to Forrest using his pace.

Horses for courses, and not the worst problem to have.

Forrest should start on Tuesday, even if Roberts is fit. He's in form, and the game is more suited to him.

Agreed, but he's not ours. Forrest has just signed a new deal that will see him here long after Roberts has returned south.

Delighted for the boy. He's been exasperating at times but when he's on his game few can live with him. Definitely an early contender for goal of the season yesterday. Long may it continue

Away from home in Europe suits a runner like Forrest as opposed to a ball retainer like Paddy?

I'd have to strongly disagree, particularly following Astana over by.
