Wahay!.

Obviously i hope he can kick on and be better but i wouldn't have bothered if we'd let him go.

Maybe with Roberts leaving in May BR thinks he can work with him and get him playing to his full potential.

All you haters....we spent 3-4m on Sinclair......here's another 3-4m......who would we have bought to replace JF?

:handbags:
I don't have an encyclopaedic knowledge of the championship or even the epl or other European leagues but I'm sure you could get someone better - a Sinclair type for the other wing - not impossible I'm sure

I will however stay consistent - in my opinion it's too soon into this rich vein of form he's in - 2-3 games, to dish out a new deal as he's been poor for years - I think he's getting kept as back up - I hope he proves me wrong and is great for us - I really do but I'm not at all sure he will - I'm basing that opinion on the last few years not the last 3 weeks

BR said recently we needed pace in the team for playing in Europe, which may have played a part in him being resigned. Time will tell.

Wasn't too bothered when it looked like he was leaving but he has played well, so far, this season.

If he can keep this up he will be terrific for us. Hope he can keep this sort of form coming.

I don't see this 'undoubted ability' in him at all. I see a player with an erratic first touch, reluctant / incapable to make adventurous passes and an attitude that stunk the place out last season. A couple of people have mentioned working on the defensive side of his game. That's the last thing I'd be working on. Get his confidence up, get him using his pace (if he still has it) and get him working on his delivery and passing and we might drag a player out him yet.

Folk often accuse Forrest (and others) of 'hiding' during games.

Can someone define exactly what 'hiding' means? Because I honestly don't have a clue.
What a bizarre post.

Do you not no what 'hiding' means or do you know what it means but think Forrest doesn't do it?

Given you've obviously read players being accused of hiding and you are saying you don't know what it means you must have at least tried to comprehend it, what do you think people mean when they say a player is 'hiding'?

Quoting limited to 3 levels deep
When was his last prolonged injury ? And we'd have very few players left if we got rid of the non triers under Deila.
Let's not give Ronny this 'out' now that all the failings were down to players not trying. We didn't go out to Maribor/Malmo and lose to Molde because of lack of effort
It's not an out but folk have questioned James's application and you can't just single him out, still no reply about him being injured all the time.

Hopefully Brendan keeps him away from skelfs and rusty nails.

Same script as Rogic for me

If he can play consistently at the top of his game then he can be a big player for us

Is it not like in the Kevin Bridges sketch where you get your face painted and hide in the boardroom?

new deal signed. to be announced in next day or 2
If Rodgers can sort him he's a better man manager than MON.
Bold statement.

Think we are a few years off of that !

Confidence is a major factor in any walk of life. Forrest has been p!sh poor for to long but injuries played its part plus the car crash experiment "Deila". Not many flourished under his stewardship. Personally think Forrest is to dimensional and too predictable. BR hopefully gets him back on track to the player we thought he would be 3 odd years ago. He seems to be getting a few players majorly onside and this can only be a good thing. Forrest has benefits albeit limited. Just hope he can have a great season and be the player we think/thought he can be - or is it to late for that?

Still think he'll be gone within a year but at least we'll get a bigger fee for him when he leaves.
It's good management by BR.

Never been a fan,but he has had shown the odd flash of ability (just not nearly consistent enough) BR has obviously liked what he's seen and heard from Forrest, I'm inclined to think he can bring out the talent he has.

Hope he goes on to a run of form. Fearing he'll pick up his injury soon and be on the crock list yet again.
