If BR thinks it's worth keeping him then that's good enough for me.

Would think there is a good chance he is going to sign a new contract given he got a start last night. Fact that Rogic did not get on the park suggests to me Celtic think he is going

I thought he drifted in and out of the game at times last night, which is not unusual for him but overall his performances of late have been a step up from previous seasons. He still cant track back and I don't ever think he is going to be able to do that. Hopefully Rodgers can get even more from him going forward and maybe I can forgive his defensive lapses.
I thought he worked hard getting back last night, especially when he was on the left in the first half. There was also one really good tackle that he made in the second half, just in front of section 407, that suggests he's maybe gaining a bit of confidence in his fitness.

I'll genuinely be concerned if he thinks we should keep him.

Forrest should leave - best for all parties.

Some people are so easily fooled - guy has first non-shampoo game in years and they want to keep him

It's that attitude they'll keep us down - he's not good enough - we need to be ambitious and expect more than players like Forrest

Let him go - he's not good enough - we need better players in that position, in many positions - he is consistently poor - do you really what a team full of players who average one 'no bad' game every 3 to 4 years?

Anyone who thinks Forrest had a decent game last night is having a laugh. By his poor standards maybe yes but if that's your ambitions for Celtic then your a glass half empty person.

All he did for the first part of the 1st half was to stop tierney getting forward. It was only when Roberts unfortunately went off and Armstrong moved across that tierney got forward more.

Maybe if stopped playing with his hair and got a one all over I could be convinced

I would prefer to play Tierney further forward than play Forrest with izzy left back.
Just naw. Naw.

Tierney isn't anywhere near as good as Forrest or even Izzy going forward. And he's our best left back.

Forrest was decent last night. If he can play like that almost every week and with some flashes of that wee guy that made the breakthrough at 18, then he deserves to be in the squad, far more than the likes of GMS, Armstrong and Scott Allan.

Forrest is indicative of a problem throughout the squad - we're settling for players. Settling for the odd moment where we think "oh, there's a player there, give him a chance". So many players in that squad are not of the quality we need, but we're settling for them. Forrest would be the first name I shipped out, and has been for 2 years now.
