Quoting limited to 3 levels deep
Chucked it?

So why does Rodgers pick him?
He's chucked in the past, many times. The San Siro springs to mind.
As an aside it surprises me the number of players in recent seasons who have openly chucked it in certain games e.g Kayal,Samaras,Forrest,Bitton,Johansen - Average players (at best0 making a fortune and cgaf whether they put in a performance or are even in the team.

What exactly is it that's over the top? Most of the posts on here are spot on.

Hasn't lived up to his potential? Check
Has 1 good game in 10? Check
Injury prone? Check
More concerned about his hair than his performances? Check
Chucked it anyway? Check

You continue banging his drum but when you say he's better than GMS that's based on nothing more than your opinion. There are stats staring you right in the face which say GMS has contributed far more to Celtic.

8 goals in nearly 3 years for a "creative" player is beyond embarrassing.

Even you cannae argue that Forrest has not chucked it. He's apathetic from the moment he comes onto the pitch most times.

Take him out that squad and you won't realise he's missing.

He's a shampooebag to boot. I mind one game at CP he ducked out the way of a throw in, rather than head it.

Disappears far too often in big games. Ajax away a couple of years ago stands out.

GMS isn't much better, I'd get shot of both & prefer better. Both are heartless, but pound for pound GMS will contribute more through the course of a season. The fact that nobody has come in for Forrest says a lot. I reckon he could be bought for buttons.

It's a shame the niggling injuries have taken their toll. But he should be punted.

It has been quite apparent to me for a long time that he has no ambition.

None.

He is content with mediocrity and has no place at the club.

The GMS comparisons are needless distractions.

Hope him and his new quiff are shown the door ASAP. He's terrible and seems to have less passion than a plastic bag.

He was good fora while though. Gone backwards and doesn't even look particularly bothered now.

Even more apparent when Roberts is playing on the opposite wing.

That's the thing. He was good. But people got carried away and thought he was something special. He had limited technical ability but his pace and willingness to take people on made for some electrifying moments. However he was only ever a kick and rush merchant who was good at skinning fullbacks but was erratic at everything else. Then full backs wised up to him, repeated hamstring injuries made him lose his explosiveness and it became a struggle. At which point he seemed to give up trying to find new ways to be effective and just moan at refs and team mates when he failed to beat his man again. He lost his appetite and hunger and is now an empty jersey. He's not going to improve because he never adapted his game when he needed to.

i don't think he is as bad as people on here are suggesting. there is a player there.... like Efe his confidence looks shot. I think the hair thing is a nervous thing....i knew he would miss the penalty but i actually thought he played ok when he came on, although him getting the armband is confusing as hell.

I would not be against him signing on again, if he can get his mojo back. Although i admit i would not be overly disappointed if he left either.
Efe is not very good, Forrest has ability...he's shot with injuries sadly..
i think that Efe has ability, he is just not a footballer - he needs to empty it much more often. O'Connell more comfortable on the ball based on yesterday (albeit that is only 1 game)

Forrest still has ability, he took on their left back a couple of times yesterday and beat him. They were doubling up on him so seen him as a danger - I genuinely think he could find his form - he is only 25(?) He might need some specialist training to get back to his best running ect.), although I think he needs to get his self belief back
What at chess?

Doesn't even seem arsed. It's incredible why he is still at the club when he clearly wants to be elsewhere. I'm not even sure he wants to be a footballer anymore

A one trick pony; the trick was blistering pace which he has lost through a series of hamstring problems.. Totally brainless, head down and runs without any awareness of what is around him. Shocking the number of times he is unnecessarily caught offside.. Poor at tracking back and ineffective when he gets there. Should have been punted last season.
