Rodgers will play him wide of a front three on the left, cutting in while the left back provides the width. Roberts will be on the right with Grif leading the line.
He won't - griffiths will be shunted out wider and a new striker brought in
BR has never really done that before. You had a look at his updated dossier?

Don't agree, 40 goals in a season mean you keep your place

Aberdeen would be a good move for him
Wouldn't get a game ahead of Hayes.
effing laughable
Hayes scored something like 4 league goals in a full season. A half fit Forrest would manage that in around 10-15 appearances, including off the bench.

Anyone who thinks Hayes is close to the player that Forrest can be isn't watching.

It's not laughable to think that a player who works harder, delivers more to his current team and stays fit over longer periods of time would be a first pick over Forrest, is it? Genuinely intrigued as to what is so laughable about that, other than utter arrogance towards Hayes.

Forrest has a higher ceiling, for sure, but when was the last time he had a properly brilliant game? I've seen Hayes have many good games in the same timeframe. Not saying I would take Hayes (would have had him in before GMS and that as squad players) but don't see any reason to turn the nose up at him as a diddy, either. He's a good wee player. Just because he wouldn't play for Celtic does not mean he's not a good player.

 aye no bother, if only we had your eye for a player mate.

Forrest has delivered sweet eff all for a long period of time now. Hayes is no world beater but the difference between him and Forrest isn't that marked anymore. Aye, Forrest had a huge amount of potential but his attitude is shampooe compared to Hayes. A "half-fit" Forrest existed last year and scored less goals than Hayes. He's been half-fit in other seasons and got nowhere near close to this mark, also.

His best was 9 in 43, which is a good return granted. His average is less so. Hayes' best was 10 in 44, so take your pick.

Shouldn't just judge someone on goals in a season, too, smacks as someone who isn't watching when you do that ;) .

A frustrating wee man who flattered to deceive. Showed so much promise early in his career but ultimately resulted in a waste of a jersey. See ya James.

But that's the problem. We're still talking about the player he "can" be. He's almost 25...

In one, and his attributes don't really point to a late bloomer.

There is a myth surrounding Hayes, and half that Aberdeen team, he isn't half as effective as some make out. He might be the best they have, but that isn't saying much

Forrest isn't the only player who imploded under Deila given his constant tinkering with his line up.

Love him or hate him, he's a better player than Hayes if he's played and fit.

Personally I couldn't give a flying one if he stays or goes.

We will grow old and wither, waiting on James Forrest becoming the player we want him to be.
It's not worth it.

Don't disagree.

The comparison was with Hayes in particular, who at 28 isn't going to improve either.

We don't want Hayes.
We don't want the player Forrest is.
We do want the player Forrest could have been.
I suspect that the player we eventually get will be similar to the James Forrest of four or five years ago. Good with potential to be very good.

What do you base your knowledge on?

Just asking because you seem to rubbish everyone else's opinion on JF as if none of us have ever seen the guy play?

I know you are part of the KDS 'High & Mighty' club so forgive me for daring to question you
