Every player must be given a chance now under Rodgers. I've feckin slaughtered some of the players this season. Brown and Mulgrew in particular. Yes I think they should have been binned but it's a new manager and he is going to give everyone a shot. No point moaning about past performances now. It's a clean slate
He can't give everyone a shot - the squad is bloated and needs serious gutting sharpish

We need better quality than we have - Forrest comes into that category - we need better and more consistent and let's not forget he effectively chucked it under Ronny - got no time for players like that

He's not alone but i am not prepared to write off 4 pish seasons and give him another chance - I do realise it's got eff all to do with me - I'm not the manager - just my opinion but I'd love to see a few heading out the door pretty soon
Correct. Brendan is sharp as a tack. He's done his analysis and despite his coaching and psychological ability to improve players will be looking to sell around 10 players this window and phase more in the coming season. Forrest's contractual position is a catalyst to his departure and he'll be a decent addition to a championship club for anything over 500k.
I think even just the thought of the Championship schedule would be enough to injure wee Jamesey.

It'll be the bus journey to away grounds like Alloa that will do him in.

Those who want Forrest chased may well be disappointed. Brendan is going to give him a chance
Love comments like this. Just pure made up pish.

Unless you know Brendan personally you or any of us don't have a clue what his thoughts are on any of the playing staff.

Not for me.

A load of players need hunted. Some of the performances and overall attitude has been shocking.

Dont buy into this crap about not playing for the previous manager etc....this is Celtic...you play for the fans.

Mass clear out for me.

Fully understand where you're coming from but glad MON didn't get rid of Lubo, Lambert, Petrov and Mjallby after a similar season under Barnes and Dalglish, when a rotten apple or two ruined the dressing room. We do need to cut down numbers though, especially if new players coming in.

I'd keep plenty of current squad, though Mulgrew, Forrest etc would be on way out if left to me. Guys like Armstrong deserve a chance. I'm sure BR will have his own thoughts and opinions. Unlike with MON in 2000, he has a limited time because of transfer window though. :twitch:

They probably won't. But I expect the Hun to drop plenty of points through the season.

I reckon it's a three way between those teams for 2nd. Huns have a decent advantage at home.

Can't see it. Even if Hearts and the sheep don't sign anyone they're still far better teams than Sevco.

I have never heard a manager coming into a club and say he has made his mind up to punt this player or that player but a new manager will always know how certain players have performed before their arrival and probably in the season prior to that as well.
All managers will say that it's a clean slate etc etc but some players will be watched more than others . E.g. Effe s next f up will probably be his last for Celtic whereas Erik could probably get away with several howlers before Brendans seen enough.

I am confident that Brendan will have the same opinion as most of us on the majority of players.
