Flame me all you like. Forrest is clearly better than Mackay-Steven or Armstrong, and would be in my starting line-up every week. Still hoping he signs a new deal.

I just dont understand most Celtic fans on here. Did you all actually attend the Europa League games, and watch them with your eyes open the whole time? For much of the time, Forrest was the only one offering any pace or width going forward. Without him, we're so much narrower and slower and have less cutting-edge.

Not even going to bother responding to the flood of negative rubbish that will follow this post. You'll all not be happy till we keep playing a three of Johansen, Armstrong and Commons, and just forget speed and the wings altogether.

There's some truth in it - Forrest is better than GMS and Armstrong is having a complete mare of a season. Whether that's justification for keeping him is less obvious, particularly as he's probably looking for a pay rise.

Forrest is a far better player than either Mackay-Steven and Armstrong however he looks like he cgaf anymore so shouldn't be playing.

I hope a new manager comes in and keeps him.

Forrest WAS better than GMS of that there is little doubt - for the last year and more though he's been the biggest let down in the squad - consistently poor and had enjoyed more second chances and excuses made for him than most - should be punted

I hope he will sign for my club, QPR. At one stage, there were rumoured that we were after him.

I think Forrest is needing a new challenge.

I think its best for both him and Celtic if he finds a new club.

I don't get this he's needing a new challenge bit. He obviously hasn't impressed the majority of Celtic fans who want rid

I can understand players who are finding everything to easy to be in need of a new challenge*. However since he struggles in every game he plays, he should mibbie look at going down the Scottish Championship to find his level.

* if he did find a new challenge, I'm sure he'd stop running and put his hand up claiming for foul!

To think there was a time we could have got £5 million plus for him.

I can see him bobbing about the Championship from club to club, at best.

I don't know why celtic want to offer him a new deal .
I know he's had a lot of injuries over his career so far, but as a celtic player he has failed to improve on the potential he had as a kid.
He's more interested making sure his hair not out of place when on the field of play.
The last time I saw him play at parkhead he lost pocession of the ball and instead of trying to win the ball back,
He was more worried about his coo's lick.

The South Wales Echo was touting him as a potential summer signing for Cardiff City yesterday. Think it was just speculation on their part, but I couldn't read the full article as the guy over whose shoulder I was reading it kept moving :pitchfork:
