Flame me all you like. Forrest is clearly better than Mackay-Steven or Armstrong, and would be in my starting line-up every week. Still hoping he signs a new deal.

I just dont understand most Celtic fans on here. Did you all actually attend the Europa League games, and watch them with your eyes open the whole time? For much of the time, Forrest was the only one offering any pace or width going forward. Without him, we're so much narrower and slower and have less cutting-edge.

Not even going to bother responding to the flood of negative rubbish that will follow this post. You'll all not be happy till we keep playing a three of Johansen, Armstrong and Commons, and just forget speed and the wings altogether.

Elements of the player you describe just don't exist anymore. He rarely takes his man on, and when he does his pace rarely beats his man. When he beats his man he rarely gets a decent ball in. Not to mention he's as one footed at Mulgrew. He's never been one to dig deep for his full-back. His tendency to go down at the slightest touch and then greet to the ref while the balls still in play infuriates many.

Most on here have been watching this guy since he was 18 years of age. If you're as much of a fan of his as you imply then you'll concede that he's never fulfilled any kind of potential he looked to have in his earlier seasons. He's never been a big game player or consistent game changer. For the last 2 years most of his 'stats' come from the tail end of humpings we dish out at CP. It's time to go.

i was joking, would rather keep Forrest, he wouldn't make my squad though.

There is a decent player there but things have went a bit stale, don't think a change of manager would help, change of scene perhaps.

I think Forrest is needing a new challenge.

I think its best for both him and Celtic if he finds a new club.

He's not improved since he first broke through. Every so often he has a few excellent games on the bounce, just as your thinking this is it then boom sod all for weeks again. Goes down far to easy then flaps his arms hoping for a foul, heart of a kitten - Time to go.

Tell you one thing tho, I bet he was great at hidey as a wean!!
