Just like Harold Brattbakk, he will be a better fit in a team that plays for the breakaway, like he showed in the Ross County away match, when they had us pinned back and Forrest left them for dead and made a goal.

But I am rather annoyed that, just when it looked like Ronny's physios had solved his injury problems, he has decided to walk away.

Thank god he turned it down.

Whoever thought it was a good idea to offer him a 4 yr deal should be shown the door also.

A one trick pony and even that trick is failing.

I simply cannot imagine this. The only player I've really missed is Henrik, until recently when I've hated all the current mob so much I wish we could replace them with just about anyone from the last 20 years.

I will not be watching a game next season thinking, "if only wee shooders was here".

28 games this season. 2 goals 2 assists. Pish return for a forward player. Hope he finds himself wherever he ends up

Good luck to him. In whatever non-descript team he ends up in.

Had great hopes for him in the early days, too erratic to be concerned about.
All the best, James.

In a utter pish season this is great news. This sorry excuse for a celtic player sums up everything thats wrong with this celtic team. A coward, thinks he's better than he is and generally a wage thief

A better manager would have got more out of him. Probably best that he does move though as he's definitely stalled here.

Did he get his name chanted once in all the time he was at the club? Shame it didn't sound like Carlton Cole, or something catchy.
Its all Rons fault of course

I don't buy that. He was already Mr Inconsistent under Lennon.

Other players - Griffiths, Rogic - have managed to do OK under Deila for all his tactical naivety and incompetence.
2 players ffs. The stats posted earlier show Lennon got a lot more out of Forrest than Deila has. Our team under Deila is full of underperforming and inconsistent players.

Aye that's exactly what I said. Until, on actually reading it, it's not what I said at all.

Still, a better manager would have got more out of it. In a team that's regularly said to be less than the sum of its parts this isn't a great leap. I'd expect a better manager to do better with the players Ronny has at his disposal. Forrest is one of them.

Can be a fantastic player when fit and on his game. .a real threat.

Unfortunately he's never fit and not always on his game. . .bye James.

Did not realise he was out of contract.

Usually you can tell as players do seem to up the ante in their last year of a contract, either to seal a deal with their exsisting club or at least showcase their talents to other clubs.

Was he not on UEFA's 100 young players to watch once upon a time?

Should have papped him off when 'arry was talking about bidding 8 million for him.
