He's all about pace. He hardly ever tries running at players.

Also painfully one footed.

Times up I'm afraid. He's never going to be the player we thought he could be.

He doesn't have pace anymore.

So he doesn't really have anything.
Watched him closely at times yesterday to see what he was about when not on the ball - At times it was as if he cgaf, other times we got the half hearted "I better look as if I am trying a leg when I am not" running # learned from Stokes - A few points he was involved but his contributions were as poor as most of his teammates - Also few 50/50's he patently didn't want to know and I fecking hate that in a Celtic player.

Used to rate Forrest when he was first on the scene and have wanted him to come good again but even for me the ship has now sailed.

A player I feel that is needing a fresh challenge and a new club. Really should have developed a lot further than he has.

The worst thing about forrest's future is that he is stringing us along. :ffs:

The contract on the table should be removed and he should be told to do one.

Who said that? Ever?

Forrests 'demise' is his own doing - the contract on offer will hopefully be taken off or he knocks it back - time to go was a while ago

think they just mistook him not having an injury for a few months as progress because they actually got to see him more than usual then realised he's pretty much shampooe.

Cant we just stick him in the trophy cabinet for the remainder of his contract with all the other things that break easily?

Also painfully one footed.
Along with those, another gripe I have with him is his shots are so weak they often replicate defensive passbacks. When he shoots from outside the box you just know it's going to float right into the goalies arms.

This.

Albeit injuries have hampered his progression, this is his 6th full season in the first team. He's not the wee boy some think he is. Although he sometimes plays like one.

By and large, he is a heartless passenger and there are a few of them in the squad. Punt.

I really can't be arsed going to find random posts within a near 2000 page thread, but there are plenty of posts which give Forrest as an example of a player Deila has improved. The Norwegian guy said he was 'better than ever' at the start of the season.

He's 24. He's not a young boy learning his trade, he's a guy who in a few years will be greeting how he could have been a contender but for the fact he was The Scarecrow, The Lion and The Tinman rolled into one.
