I'm not saying Forrest hasn't contributed to his own problems recently but he's a perfect example of a player who could really benefit from having a better manager. He has some great assets but, for whatever reason, we don't get to see enough of him at his best. I'd still pick him ahead of any of the three attacking midfielders we had behind Griffiths on Wednesday.

This.

I know i'll get slated, but on his day he's probably our best / most effective player.

Sadly, this is becoming increasingly rare.

Ronny is the best manager that he has had so far

Every other manager has rushed him back from his injuries, and there by making his problems much worse

Forrest needs time to build up a physic that might be able to cope with pro football - he is getting that now

Heartless wee fud..get rid of him as soon as we can get someone stupid enough to part with any sort of fee for him. Why he had been offered a new contract puzzles me. Should be one of the first to go along with a load of others right behind him

before writing him off, I'd like to see him get a good run of games on the right. hes far more effective going past players than cutting in. pace is his biggest asset and all playing him on the left does is negate that.

that run of games is dependent on staying fit of course.

6 years ago he was a great prospect. We've been patient with him, nursing him through injuries etc but it's just not working anymore. Sorry James but you don't deserve a new contract.
