I could tell you somethings about the PY. I'll wait until I'm running football though.

He's 13. Should be anyway. My lads played against him many time. Played 03 PY
I'm guessing Pro youth?

I was one of his coaches before he moved to Celtic, he is an 03 but he played 02 with us for a few years and tore that level up.

Rangers had us up at Murray Park to look at him and Kaddy took the huff that day and sat off most of the match  Rangers never asked us back (Although they did take one of our players)

Edit: just noticed "py"
Because he didn't want to play for them?
No, he just spat the dummy, can't remember why (he's down to earth as well), but he is a Tim, a Govan bhoy too :)

We still coach the same 02 team, the head coach has him over his house often, he's mates with his son (our goalie), he was wearing our strip under the celtic one tonight :) ,

Man City etc have shown interest, but he wants to play for Celtic, who knows where his head will be in a couple of years though.

We had him down at Newcastle a few years back, he ran amok there too, he's something else, we have boys going to and coming from pro youth for the last 5 years or so, nobody I've seen comes close to Kaddy and we've played a few pro youth teams in that time.

Can't say I agree that playing with 20 year olds is the best place for a 13 year old to develop. Odd decision IMO.

Trending worldwide tonight. No bad for a 13 year old on a Monday night at Cappielow.

CELTIC threw their 13-year-old wonderkid Karamoko Dembele into an Under-20 match last night.

At the same time it emerged first team namesake Moussa has snubbed England to pledge his future to his native France.

Schoolboy Karamoko came off the bench for the Hoops’ second string against Hearts after Celts’ Youth coach Tommy McIntyre handed the kid, who still qualifies for their Under-14 team, a shock place at Cappielow.

Dembele was called on after Celtic’s development team lost eight players to international call-ups.

McIntyre would normally pluck replacements from the Under-17 squad — but they face Rangers tomorrow night.

And the kid came on with nine minutes to go for Jack Aitchison, the club’s youngest-ever first-team goalscorer.

This. Fair play to him getting the chance though, must be a decent prospect.

All seems a bit mental. Very few players at large clubs seem to make the grade to play against opposition so much older.
Messi, Maradona and maybe Bojan?
I'm sure there are others who have spanned that age gap but I'd guess this kid really must be the real deal to get even a sniff.
Have a feeling we should just start signing folks called Dembele who are teenagers. :hmmm:

I've never seen him play in the flesh but I've been hearing about him for 3 years or so. Guys who have coached PY say he's the best player at the level they have ever seen.

Be interesting when he hits 16.

PY is a load of pish btw

Like, probably, most, I have only seen him in video. I have no idea how good he really is, or how good he can become.

I'm not a football coach, but seeing him, at 13, playing at that level, sits uncomfortable with me. Not just for football reasons, but the pressure and the expectations that will put on a wee boy.

I really wish him well and hope he achieves all he can be, and I hope someone with his best interests is guiding him.

He doesn't need to look to far back in the history of young Celtic players, to see how wrong it can go for someone!
