Good game.
Miller played very well and Crossan looks like he could be a very good player.
That mob are hacking bastards and I'm glad that dick got a red after walking off the field.
Ajer wasn't that good, but it's not anything to worry about. These boys have played with each other for a while now and Ajer has shown with the first team what he can do.
On to the next round.

This team seem to start slow and have good fitness as the game goes on. Good response. I am really impressed with PJ crossan, seems excellent

Wee Joe Thomson loves a tackle. Bit of menace about him, which will serve him well.
That's Joe calmed down a bit as well
I always though he'd be the natural successor to Brown, still do.

Just caught the last 15-20 mins, PJ crossan looks a decent player. Is he the boy signed from Dunfermline?

Anyhoo, miller excellent and PJ Crossan defo a dude to keep an eye on.

We'll done to the kids for standing up to them and no doubt some baiting from the fife Huns too.

Good stuff .

There's no excusing dirty play but I dare say if they were playing Junior Sevco then the other half of the Cowdie team would have been getting a few tackles in as well.

Is the whole point of these games not to get the young boys used to 'physical' opponents?

All other SPL teams playing tonight are out, with Partick Thistle into extra-time against Queens Park.

Is it the next round the NI & Welsh clubs enter?
They come in round 4. This was round 2.

nothing wrong with hard physical tackles but a lot of those tonight took the piss. bunch of hammer throwers trying to boot a team of boys off the park.

good win and probably better than the previous round because of those circumstances.

Good turnaround for the young boys. It's evident that a team of youths going up against a team of grown men is a difficult task regardless of superior technical ability. I'm looking forward to seeing the next round.

Also, GIURY Finlay and the hacking hun bastards in their team.

Good effort from the young boys again tonight. Playing against a physical senior side is great experience and they stood up to it well. McIntyre and McGuinness are doing a good job getting a strong mentality in the team. Brave decision to take Nesbitt off, but it worked. The lack of a big centre half who is dominant in the air could be a problem, but they wont come up against 2 big centre forwards too often. Love Miller's skill and attitude. Would like him to get a couple of games later in the season.

We come up against any more teams of that ilk in this competition, one or more of our kids is going to get a bad injury.

That was disgraceful tonight from Cowdenbeath, and even though the ref sent off the "gesture" guy, I thought he was weak and offered no protection to players who wanted to play football.

Anyway, good result.
