Wow, what a wee player he is. Strong, fast, great feet and got great passing range for someone so young.

Hopefully his family stay grounded. I image he is being well treated by Celtic already.

nothing to stop him to go training with them until he is old enough to sign a contract with them

City could then hire his parents for some "work" until that happens, so he/they get paid

Surely Celtic should be just pointing to Feruz if anyone is trying to turn his head.

Staying at Celtic until your 23 or so then getting a big move, is better than spending your entire career on loan to folk from Man City Reserves.

Karamoko Dembele Celtic FC - Academy Cup Player of Tournament

Needs to work on that right foot or he’ll be no better than that other wee left-footed guy who cuts in from the right and dribbles a lot.
What’s his name . . . Messi or summat. :nono:

Wee man has obviously been watching his Bobby Lennox videos.

He signed from us to Celtic, he's a wee Govan boy, man city and Co have all been making noises and since this is the second Europeam tourney in as many months that he's tore up you can be sure they'll be looking at him on the continent as well.

Clubs can come in for him just now but they'll need to pay for him, I'll be happy if he wears the Scotland shirt, his parents are from the Ivory Coast, he was born in London but raised in Govan since a nipper, as soon as he becomes eligible I'd cap him.

Morton supporting mate has just asked me about Nesbitt. Apparently they are taking him on loan, anyone heard anything?

never mind scotland get this boy motoring through our ranks - he looks like some talent - way better than feruz was and as said above totally unselfish and as good at picking a pass as doing it himself

c'mon brendan get him training with first team

Aiden Nesbitt has joined Morton on loan until January 2017. Hope he does well as he looks like a good prospect.

Generally speaking, when a player goes out on loan, who covers the player's salary, Celtic or the borrowing club?

I imagine an older player like Scott Allen is at Rotherham full time, but does Nesbitt still work out with Celtic at Lennoxtown and just goes to Morton for games, or does he train just with Morton?

Morton will probably be paying part of his salary. This happens with most players out on loan.

Seems like a bit of a backwards step for Nesbitt considering he was on loan to a top flight club last season.

Thanks JOW.

I just read that Shaun Bowers and Lewis Bell, who played for the U-17s last season are set to join Lowland League side BSC Glasgow on loan. Is this really a step up for these two players?

Apart from a couple of bright games, he didn't make much of an impact at Thistle, so the step down is obviously to make sure he gets games I think.

General consensus is he needs to fill out more, but that's sometimes a lazy excuse for me. Turns 20 in February, so hopefully he hits the ground running. You'd have been expecting him to have made some sort of a breakthrough by now going by what was said about his potential a couple of years back. Definitely a make or break move at Morton in terms of his Celtic career.

He did look very exciting in the Colts game last week.
