Saw the second half. Annan simply couldn't get near us. Impressive performance.

Impressive the way the young guys zipped the ball around but also in their work rate and looked stronger physically in challenges for the most part.

Ajer at cb stew back or midfield?

Did we play a back three or did Wardrop play midfield?

WE played much better in first half. Annan tightened up midfield in 2nd half to stop youngsters playing though them with ease.

The kids play with more style and at quicker pace than the 1st team. :ponder:

Kids Not great at defending corners either though.

Anyone else think the first team would have struggled to get a better result v Annan based on our recent track record v underdogs?

This is the old petrofac cup, isn't it? The one sevco kept losing. Would be fun for the u20s to win it at the first attempt.

Kilmarnock's u20s as bad as their first team btw, 5-2 hammering off Queen's Park :D

Thought the young ones played very well. Ralston, McCart, Hendry, Millar and Nesbitt all very impressive, Ajer not so much but early days. Definitely wasn't any better than our own young ones though.

Impressive performance, delighted for the Bhoys. Nesbitt was excellent, is it his build/stature that's holding him back?

I'm new. Be gentle.
The young lads played great and scored some really good goals, especially Aitchison's header. Very enjoyable. As someone said Ajer had a bit of a mare and didn't stand out at all. I think Ralston is the one most likely to make it.

I think McCart has some of that too. He seems like a leader even at a tender age.

Kelleher is worth keeping an eye on. I think he's went to Peterhead on loan but from seeing him a few times I think he's got a chance.

Seen a lot of those boys playing a few years ago in same team as KT.

Nesbitt and Kelleher stood out.

Surprised to see Jack Breslin was released. Also the CM whos name ive completely forgot. Captained the team in Youth CL

Connor McManus?

Think he might still be with us. Maybe injured?

There's been lots of good decision making by the young colts to night.

Really enjoyable.
That's the difference. Decision making.

Ralston is our best prospect in my view. He looks like a natural athlete and physically ready for first team. I remember seeing him a couple of youth cup finals ago vs Zombies and even then he looked physically imposing. High hopes for him.

Do you know what I think, give these bhoys a chance, make a path to the first team for some of them and if it doesn't work oit, then so be it
We've lost nothing. But I reckon these bhoys will screw the nut because they are eager and want.to do well to stay in the first team. Ye never know we could have another Tierney on our hands.
