The ball just seems to stick to Crossan's foot, looks a great wee player

Half time 1-0 Everton.

They have a big athletic team, think our boys are much more skilful with the ball though.

Ralston just had a shocker of a challenge there, booted a guy of the face.
Red card

Full time 1-0 Everton.
Didn't expect anything more after the sending off.
We've some good young players and hopefully they get a chance this season at some stage.

FT: 1-0 Everton.
Very impressed with a few of the Celtic players.
Not Ralston, though.
That was a ridiculous challenge and deserved the red card. :nono:

I never said anything about today's performance, just that we've got some good young players.
That would be the ones that also played against Sociedad.

Kelleher good in the air but absolutely no pace at all. Wee number 9 Crossan from Dunfermline? Worked hard but got no service at all.
Who was the number 8?

CELTIC midfielder Jamie Lindsay has joined Greenock Morton on a season-long loan until June 2017.

The 20-year-old midfielder spent last season on loan at Dumbarton, winning the club's Young Player of the Year Award, and returned to Celtic Park in the summer.

He was part of Celtic first-team squad for the pre-season training camp in Slovenia, and last week he scored a superb individual goal for Celtic's Development Squad in their 3-1 win over Real Sociedad in the SupercupNI.

Everyone at Celtic wishes Jamie every success during his loan spell with Greenock Morton.

Villa away  Will be weird being at a game after only a ten minute or so journey. Also looking forward to seeing how the lads get on against Valencia after last season

Villa’s U23 side have been drawn in Group E for the 2016/17 Premier League International Cup.

They join Norwich City as well as Scottish side Celtic and Spain’s Valencia CF.

The claret and blues will travel to Norfolk and host Valencia and Celtic.

It sees twelve of England’s best academy sides compete against twelve of the top development squads in the rest of Europe.

The competition will be open to players U23 so that Clubs will be permitted to name three over age outfield players and one overage goalkeeper.

I'd do away with this overage crap....U23s....they should be in the first team...keep it at 18 - 20s - But bets of luck to the young guns who will gain a lot of valuable experience in the tourney.

The overage thing is just so clubs can use games like this to help senior players coming back from injury, or to give squad players some decent game time to keep their match fitness up.

Celtic u20's v Annan athletic is on premier sports tonight at 7.30. May suit people like myself who subscribed for the Lincoln and Astana games recently. Not sure if this has been posted
